I was really surprised at how sturdy this hamper is; for the price, I was kind of expecting nothing special. This hamper is best of this type have ever had!!! The best thing; had a made in the U.A.A sticker on it... Yay!! Also like that is on the slimmer size width wise as bathroom is narrow. Handles are great for carrying towels to the laundry room. Feels just as spacious as previous one and EASIER to carry for sure.

Outstanding quality and made in the U.S.A

walmart.com

Very happy with this laundry basket. Its vertical shape makes it much easier to carry up and down steps in my bi-level house where bedrooms are upstairs and laundry room is downstairs. Very sturdy and lightweight. Built in handles will not tear or break. Holds lots of clothes and well ventilated. Can stack multiple empty baskets inside each other to use minimal floor space. I would definitely recommend this item. Big bang for the buck!

Great Laundry Basket!

I used this mainly to use for my white colored clothes and it handles the job perfectly. I don't personally like those foldable ones as they can fold on you while your carrying your clothes. The price of this hamper is will worth the buy. If you want to get a bit more fancier you can pay $15 for one with wheels and i think a lid.

Great hamper

I ordered one of these slim style hampers and wasn't expecting the greatest quality, based on the low price. But, wow, this thing is surprisingly sturdy. And, bigger than I expected. I will be ordering a few more. I would like to have one or two for dirty clothes and one for clean clothes as well.

My new favorite hamper!

Slim, sturdy, and surprisingly spacious for small areas

I picked up the Mainstays Rectangular Open Laundry Hamper because I needed something that would fit into a narrow space without giving up capacity. This design fits that need perfectly. The slim rectangular shape makes it easy to tuck into closets, corners, or next to a washer without taking over the room, and the footprint is noticeably smaller than a round hamper while still holding a full load with room to spare.

The 1.8-bushel capacity is generous, and the taller height makes it practical for people who prefer to avoid bending as much. Even when filled to the top, the hamper stays stable and doesn't bow outward like thinner plastic options I've used before. The integrated handles feel solid and comfortable to grab, and since they're part of the frame rather than snap-in pieces, there's no worry about them breaking off when lifting a heavy load.

The ventilation pattern is one of the features I appreciate most. The holes run along the sides in a way that keeps airflow moving, which helps prevent damp clothes from trapping odors. It's a simple design detail that makes a noticeable difference during the week between laundry days. The polished plastic also wipes clean quickly, and the bright white color keeps it looking tidy and blends easily with most home setups.

One thing I didn't expect is how easy it is to slide this hamper in and out of small spaces. The smooth finish and straight edges let it glide along the floor or against walls without scraping. It also holds its shape well, so stacking clothes inside doesn't cause the sides to bow or bend. For anyone who wants a hamper that looks clean, functions well, and disappears neatly into a corner, this one delivers exactly that.

After comparing it with mesh pop-ups, rolling carts, and fabric hampers, this is the one that feels most reliable for everyday use. It doesn't collapse, sag, or tip, and it handles heavier items like towels and blankets without stress on the frame. It's a basic product, but it's built better than expected for the price.

Bottom line: A dependable, space-saving hamper that combines durability, airflow, and a clean look. An excellent choice if you want something sturdy and practical for small or crowded spaces.

Slim, sturdy, and surprisingly spacious for small

This hamper is exactly what I needed! It fits perfectly in a narrow space without taking up too much room. It's lightweight but sturdy and the open design makes it easy to toss clothes in and take them out. Great quality for the price and very practical for everyday use.

Perfect for Small Spaces

I live in a small apartment with a shared laundry room with limited space. This basket fits perfectly fine in my closet. I normally wash about twice a week alternating clothes then towels and linens. The basket is light weight but strong making it easy to handle.

This laundry basket is tall and skinny and fits in the corner perfectly. It is the perfect size and holds a lot of laundry! Very sturdy and well made. I'm going to be buying more for my house because of how sturdy they are- great value for the price!

Great Laundry Basket

I love this hamper. I bought two and they have worked great for dirty clothes and I love that they have handles and could double as a laundry basket if needed. The rectangular shape saves me space in my closet.

Handy Hamper Basket

They just don't make things like they used to! I got excited to see a basket for around 7.50 so I bought it online and it's a piece all right. I suppose it'll probably last me about a year but if you want something strong and sturdy, be ready to spend your money. Prices are up and quality is beyond sadness🥀

Extremely Disappointed

It'll break with normal use. Like filling it up with heavy work jeans. Its as if its only meant for super light baby clothes. The plastic is extremely flimsy.

Itll start breaking within a few months
