My mother purchased a similar sterilite laundry basket for me when I went to college. That was in 1990. I still have it! For my wedding shower I received another one, I still have it! That was in 1996. Since then I have purchase and had to throw away more than I can count. I get it that you need to make money, but sacrificing your quality product shouldn't be the way you do it. The handles fall off the sides break. I've tried reinforcing the whole thing with duct tape to no avail. You should look at the design front he early 90's and bring it back. You could be the less plastic in a land full company! As for me, wont buy anymore, just going to stick with my two from the 90's.

I bought these baskets in October and the handles are already broken. Really disappointed. I love the size of the baskets though

Great size bad hadle strength

I have owned 2 of the Ultra 2 Bu. Baskets and within a couple of months the handles have broken off these. The label in the bottom of the basket is practically intact which shows they have hardly been used.

Breaks easily

Purchased product less than 6 months ago because of its great size.  Gray handles broke off and the plastic on the basket has cracked.

The grey handles snap in time. Just lifted it by one handle and it broke at the clip. This has happens on two separate units

I bought this to replace a laundry basket that I had for over 12 years and this cracked in less than 6 months. I thought this would last but will not be purchasing this brand again. The quality has gone down. I would like a refund so I can buy something that lasts. Disappointing.

Garbage

I love the design of this hamper, except that the handles break off. I have had it less than a year, and already 2 of the 4 handles have broken off. I hope Sterilite can figure out a way to redesign this hamper to prevent this issue.

Handles break

I've bought this exact model twice.  Both times one of the handles broke, it snapped exposing sharp prices of plastic which can and will cut your hands.   Cheap, Poor quality plastic which needs to be made stronger, thicker or as a one piece handle integrated as in the 1245 – 1.5 Bushel Rectangular Laundry Basket but needs to be made in a larger size basket.   I would like to request a replacement at no cost to me due to this happening and exposing dangerous sharp plastic which has already cut my hand.

Handles have broken twice on this model

Plastic broke at handle after two loads.  Do not purchase!!!

Bought this and the handles broke and cracked within a week. Terrible product!

Poor quality!

We love the versatility of these baskets. One basket we use for laundry and the other we use to sort toys in my youngest son's room. It's so sturdy and durable.
