When my set arrived several pieces were defective. I wrote to customer service and they responded the next day! 
They asked me to send pictures of the pieces, and again responded to me immediately ! They sent me a new 4 place setting set that I received within a few days.

Stone + Lain

I bought the black brass dinnerware set.  It looks better in person,  I personally like how the bowls are uneven in some places,  kind of looks like it's made by hand.  The only thing I don't like about these are the bowl size,  they are smaller than your average bowl, but,  it is definitely not a deal breaker.

Brasa Black Set

We love our new dishes! Everything was packed so well and all 32 pieces arrived in perfect condition. I had a quick response to an email I sent prior to placing an order, with a prompt follow-through from the staff at Stone+Lain. My order was processed immediately and my dishes arrived in about a week. I highly recommend them! We ordered the 32 pc. Brasa stoneware set in light green.

These dishes work beautifully with our natural rustic decor. I love the deep forest green color and subtlety roughened shape of the dishes and brown trim. They are sturdy and practical and so far have survived a 4yo and 7yo. I read a few complaints about scratching, but as with most stoneware, I've noticed any “scratches” buff off with a microfiber cloth.

Stylish Rustic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the gold edging is a bit uneven in places, but at this price point that must be forgiven. otherwise these are sturdy, attractive dishes.

The dishes are nice and heavy. It does appear that quality control could be improved. I bought 2 16 piece sets. I feel like I have to inspect all of the dishes now that I have them. I noticed 3 items that had defects on them that are difficult to miss.

I like the stoneware, QC could be improved.

Pretty but not great quality

I haven't had them two weeks and they are already showing scratches! I guess plastic utensils are to be used. Would Not Recommend! Mad and frustrated! Inferior product.
