Great Game

I had waited nearly 3 years to finally get this game. Luckily it went on sale. The rules are simple, but there are lots of details that make the game a bit complex and so that will take some time to teach and play. However, once you get the mechanics it's a very deep but easy game to actually play. One of the best board games I've played. I usually play Dominion and Settlers of Catan. This is way up on my top board games list.

worth the hype

I have to admit I didn't like Scythe very much at first, but that was because I didn't completely understand it or its mechanics. I have now played Scythe three times (and will play it more with my copy) and do like it. It's not my top game but it's definitely one of my favorites.

Play it at least three times before you decide

An extremely great game. Can play 1-5 people ( more with expansions). Random choosing of starting factions and mats allow for a different game each time
