I haven't opened it yet because it's a Christmas present, but it came exactly as I expected and it looks like it's going to perform well.

I have a hard time making perfect small portions of rice snd this let's me make two cups of perfectly cooked white or brown rice. I am going to try some of the recipes in the instructions booklet.

I like the size, the ease of cooking in it.  I like the ease of cleaning it and I can cook my rice to just the right fineness for my taste. I I check it after the first cooking and if it is not as soft as I want it, I can just press the lever down and keep cooking until just right.

It is perfect for people who do not eat a lot of rice or have kids who loves rice. I like that it  turns off by itself once the rice is cooked. I am planning on using this for oats as well. It is mini so take note. It is not for family who love to eat A LOT of rice. I think the max cooked rice capacity is 2 cups. Overall, I love it. It is perfect for our family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rice cooker is extremely convenient. I live in a small NYC  apartment and my counterspace is very limited. This mini rice cooker is a great addition to my kitchen. It is tiny but mighty. It is mini but it is a good size. I can cook 1 cup of rice easily. We go to camping and we travel a lot and this mini cooker is coming with us as I have kids that I need to cook for. It cooks perfectly. It makes the rice in a short period of time. It is very convenient. I can not wait to try new recipes but so far I am loving this amazing mini rice cooker. The rice that comes out is absolutely perfect and so tasty.  This is also perfect for travel which is a bonus. It will come in handy over the summer. Highly reccomend!

Very Covenant- perfect rice everytime

Worked great for about a month or so; then burned out ... maybe from an overspill? Also, it didn't have all the features I was expecting; I probably chose the wrong model. Anyway, I've returned to making perfectly fine rice on the stove.

I should have ordered the next level up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I guess when I ordered this I did not expect it to be this small, we have a family of 4 so to feed us I'd have to run it 2 cycles to get enough rice for us all. It is simple and easy to use, it comes with the measuring cup and then inside the pan it tells you how much water to put in depending on how much rice you want. You plug it in after putting all the ingredients in and push the button down and let it cook that's it. The light will go off and the lever will go back up once the rice is cooked. It did take longer then I expected it took a little over 20 minutes to make enough rice to feed 2 adults. The rice came out cooked well, it was a little wet but I pulled the lid off and let it sit before serving and it was fine after that. Overall this is something nice to have and it works well, I can see me using it when it's just me and my husband or the kids not for all of us.

I liked this cooker but the mfg. and description of the pot says when you plug it in "the warming light comes on". Not only that they also state that it " keeps food warm when it is done cooking." It does not. I am returning one and they sent me another one. I thought the first was just defective. No, the second one is just like the first. So it is not as described and all the functions are not there as it states. I did cook rice in the first and depending on the rice you are cooking and the amount of it, you will have to watch the timing of it, because it did not turn off until at least 35-40 minutes and it says the rice is cooked in about 25 minutes. I did not set a timer at first and so the rice got hard on the outside near the pot. In other words, if you know it does not function as they say, but will still cook if you  are willing to fiddle and watch it, then it is little and does cook. You have to use their Special Cup though to measure it all. I am going to keep this one. I am already tired of having to send stuff back. If they gave a refund without  having to send it back, which they should, I would ask for it. Maybe I can give it to someone. I will just use my small kettle to cook my rice. I thought this might work for one of my sons who doesn't cook much. Good luck.
