Ferdinand is appreciated by both kids and adults.
It's complicated to explain to kids about the  tragic world of corridas de toros (bullfights). It's better to just tell the truth and then tell them about Ferdinand.
The imagery is nice and the language appropriate for kids. The font is big enough for us older people.

I bought this for my daughter as a baby shower gift to start her own library. She was so happy to get this as it was one of her favorites.
