We recently took our 20 month old granddaughter hiking in tbe Smokies.  These shoes were perfect.  She had a steady stride, never complained about her shoes or fought putting them on.  She actually loves the shoes.  We hiked for 5 days, including her splashing through some puddles. The shoes just needed a little cleaning up, and still looked brand new.

I've bought Stride rite in the past for my other two girls and now with my third. This time around there wasn't a local store to measure her foot so I used the online tool. I was worried at first but it definitely was useful and we got the perfect size shoes! She has thick wide feet so we wanted to make sure her shoes were comfortable as well as lightweight as a first time walker! Thank you for existing!

These shoes have lasted the test of time and toddler play! My son plays sports like soccer and basketball in these shoes! He runs, kicks, jumps, and scuffs them frequently, but you'd never know how rough he plays with them on because the material is tough enough to withstand his activities while keeping his feet supported!

we tried a few other brands of shoes but she refused to take a step and would just cry. With the Rosa Sneakers she seemed happy from the start. I used Stride Rite from the beginning with my first two, I should have just stuck with what worked. Sometimes the grass isn't greener on the other side.

A shoe she will walk in

My son started walking pretty early and we saw almost immediately that he would walk tip-toe like a ballerina. We knew this wouldn't be good for his long term development and so tried to find a solution. We tried the squeaking shoes, which worked for a little while but the novelty wore off, we tried special socks and more. The Stride Rite shoes have greatly reduced his toe walking. Add in our parental coaching, and he is walking much more naturally. Im looking forward to watching him grow and improve over time!
