Ease Of Installation

When we first bought the Strider bikes for our kids a couple weeks ago, I wondered if it would really work for my kids (5,4,3 and 2 years old). After less than two days, I was worried that it was working TOO fast and I'd have to buy new bikes for my kids who had outgrown the balance bike method and were ready to pedal. What a great problem to have. When the pedal kits arrived, my kids were ecstatic to try it out, and the whole process to teach them how to pedal took less than 15 minutes each before they were pedaling on their own. But the next day, they had no hesitation. Fantastic product that solved a problem I didn't even know existed. This is why we chose Strider over the many copycats: they know their products work fast, hence why they sell a conversion kit. My only advice would be to buy the pedal kit when you buy the bike. Your kids will learn much faster than you think.

This product works TOO well...

striderbikes.com

We bought the 14x and pedals for our 3.5 yr old for Christmas. She practiced striding on the larger bike for a couple of days then asked us to put the pedals on. We love they allow her to still stride, but pedal when she feels comfortable. She is asking to ride her bike every day it has been nice since Christmas! We are in Southeast South Dakota, so the weather is less than favorable this time of year.

Our 3.5 year old loves these!

Simple and easy conversion. Took like 8 minutes to install the pedals, and that's only because my kid walked off with the one of the provided allen wrenches!

Easy conversion

The Strider system is awesome. Took me 5 minutes to figure out the installation. My son loves it, and this was the perfect solution for when no other bikes are available. Love that you can take them on and off for different kids/stages

Excellent product line

Purchased bike & pedal kit for my 5 year old grand daughter. It worked like a miracle :-). She had struggled with a bike with training wheels but was riding the balance bike after a week. Pedals attached easily and she was riding with pedals after 2 weeks. Bike is GREAT.

Great bike for learning to ride

Speaking about the whole bike purchase, as we haven't even installed the pedal kit yet. But everything showed up pretty quickly, was easy to assemble, and seems very solid and well made. Parts assemble with precision, there were no "well these holes almost don't line up" situations. If you are considering buying a pedal kit *someday* for a 14x bike you are purchasing now, just get everything in one shot and put the pedal kit away for later. It would be a bummer to try to get a pedal kit for a 2020-model bike in 2023 or something and find out the production line is making something slightly different by then (which is a fact of life). Kid loves the bike.

i would buy this product again.

I bought three strider 14 x bicycle and the pedal kids for my grandchildren for their birthdays and Christmas presents...the best presents a grandparent can give. Something that the grandchildren will use and enjoy. Thank you Strider for making it easy for us grandparents ❤️

Thank you so much for the easy assembly video! Could not be simpler to put on the bike and my daughter was pedaling on two wheels in less than 30 minutes! (She had been practicing balancing for over a year and was more than ready). Thank you for making bike riding stress free for parents! Much easier than I remember as a child.

Perfect!

I only recently became aware of the balance bike and couldn't justify making my 4 year old grandson have to wait until mid June for his birthday present. He is simply ecstatic over his new blue Strider Bike and I almost can't believe how quickly he got the hang of ripping down the street!! Would buy it again and again!!

My grandson loves it!!

Super easy to install. Kid learned to ride the pedal super fast. Yet, quality was not the best. The pedal thing didn't notch onto the bike flush like you see in the instructions. There is now a gap between the bike and the pedal thing so that you can see the screw. Still works though, works great at that.

Best system to learn ride, but quality not 100%
