Ease Of Installation

I bought two of these to attach outside of the patio doorway and doorway into the garage to help my wife who will soon get a prosthetic leg. These are sold mainly for use on RVs and I had one on my motorhome, so I know it will work well where I intend to install them. Price through Walmart online was about the same as other sources (Amazon, etc.)

Perfect. Helps me get into and out of my cargo trailer. Folding makes the railing flat against the cargo trailer.

This railing was perfect for the 2 steps from our garage into the house.  Simple to install too!

This item should be a direct and easy replacement or an easy add for campers with small hand holds.  Easy instructions and hardware all included.

Only 'watch out for' is to position it to clear windows. . . . . and remember to fold it in when travelling.

STROMBERG CARLSON LEND A HAND

Installation was simple using the provided hardware. It does function well in that it does fold flat and folds out as needed. You do need to lift the entire rail about an inch (it's easy to do) to fold it flat. To fold it out, you only need to fold it, no lifting required. Once folded it stays out of the way and doesn't look bad at all. Once extended for use, it works well but it has a little more play than I would like. It's not bad and it's not going to cause yo uto lose grip or fall. it just has some play. Overall, I would recommend it but don't think this is going to be as solid as a manufactured staircase. That's not it's design prurpose
