The drafting table desk lamp has a durable metal frame, protected from scratches by a stylish high gloss white finish. The clamp base is sized to fit drafting tables and adjusts to fit most other tabletops with normal thickness. Steel springs and tension control knobs allow you to adjust the lamp's angle and length to up to 36 inches, letting to position the light however you need.

This works wonderfully on my drafting table. Bulb could be a bit brighter, but a bulb change will work.

Purchased for my sons bunk bed. He reads a lot and the little cheap lights dont cut it. The arm moves around enough for him to get any angle he wants and it works perfect for him. We put a light bulb in thats less wattage than originally given with purchase.

My sister loves this light. It's flexibility for moving around on her artist table is perfect for her.  She is satisfied also because of the light bulb options where she can switch back and forth the kind of bulbs she uses.

Swing Arm Lamp !  I would recommend this product

This light is exactly what I was looking for to replace a similar one I had for about 10 years.  Very pleased.

Just what i wanted...

This lamp was exactly what I needed it can be disassembled to allow it to return to its box.  The only weak area was the clamp mechanism that holds it to the desktop felt the design could have been a little more firm.

Great light

wonderful art desk. Don't like the stool. Not strong enough for a 260 lb. man. The desk is worth it without the stool.

To start, this is not an expensive lamp, so expectations should be in line with that.  The unit functions reasonably well.  some parts are so cheaply made (like the desk clamp) that it doesn't inspire any confidence.  After re-tightening the desk clamp twice, it is holding more or less.  If I were buying again, I would spend more to get something more.  I still consider it a reasonable value.

Consider buying something better

The knob to turn it on and off shorts out each time i turn it. I bought 3 and they all do it. The clamp is made out of plastic and one is already busted. The price is the only draw i dont anticipate them lasting long.

Bought 3 all have same problem

Base that holds the lamp broke after just two months of very gentle use and they refused to send me another saying it's only guaranteed for a month!! So, I tried glueing it back with Gprilla Glue, which usually glues everything but not this. It broke in same place 3 days later. It cost me $20 a month to use this piece of crap!! I would NEVER buy this if I were you...get another brand!!
