[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a faithful remastering of the classic Playstation RPG's, with all the core elements intact, including Futch's flying elephant, I mean Dragon that sounds like an elephant in the opening chapters. Infamous translation errors have been fixed, such as "Oh, my. All of this killing in front of a children" . Widescreen, HD, and and battle speed modifiers are all part and parcel of this release, making one hope that Konami decides to remaster the other 4 games in the series.

i have some complaints over the game, but they're not bad enough to give less than 5 stars. 
first, the autosave feature is almost useless. it only saves at save point. why? mind as well just save manually. how lazy you have to be to skip saving manually? game did crush a few times, and this "autosave" did not help me one bit.
second, you can speed up the battle. great feature, but there's one problem (for me, at least), it also speeds up the bgm! is it a problem? maybe not, but it was so disorienting for me. 

again, do these problems spoiled my joy? no, absolutely not. it's still a great series, and i had so much fun playing. hopefully, they'll fix this, so in future if i want to revisit the game, i can have absolutr flawless experience.
