We purchased 4 of these gates for our house and like them a lot.  The wood looks very nice and they are very sturdy.  The latch it secure and easy to use with one hand.  Installation was a breeze and we like the that when opened there are no bars that go across the bottom to trip over like the pressure gates.

Very Impressed

I already had one so the decision was relatively easy. We use them to keep the dog and cats out of bedrooms, kitchen and separate the cat food from the dog. The quality is good compared to other options and cost is acceptable. The only issues I have are the metal slide brackets could be more substantial and the bottom support leg needs a felt pad to prevent scoring the floor. A set of 90 ° brackets to mount the plastic brackets would help in rare instances too. We've bought three of these. That speaks for itself.

Good value for the quality

We bought this fence to protect our little girl from falling down the basement stairs. It blends well into our decor, it is easy to handle for an adult and resistant to brewing by the little ones.

Useful and safe

The quality is fine. The handle is very difficult to squeeze- all of my older kids are unable to open it which is very irritating. It's also extremely loud- which is annoying when you're trying to sleep. All in all I wish I had gotten a different gate but now it's hung and I don't really want to waste $56.

Difficult to use

The wood doesnt feel very study , also when opening it sticks. Hard to close and make sure it really is closed

Very questionable

Not only was this a pain to install, opening and closing it is a complete pain. But after what felt like 10 holes in the wall, it's staying. Lining up the bottom of the gate with the metal track is impossible with one hand. So no can do when carrying baby. Or babies in my case. Would much prefer something with auto close. I thought the handle would make for easy open. Nope. That's a pain too. I completely regret this purchase but more so the installation of it.
