This table was shipped quicker than I thought possible. The assembly was a snap and the directions were easy to understand. No problems with the drawer at all, everything was in perfect condition and exactly what we thought we were buying. Although solid in place, moves easily for cleaning underneath. We like it so much we actually use coasters on it.
Several visitors, noticing the new table asked where we got it and were interested in it.

Exactly what we were looking for!

I purchased the end tables and tv stand about 7 years ago but Walmart did not have the coffee table. I searched everywhere for it and finally gave up. Then about a month ago I got an email and there it was. I immediately ordered it and am so happy with it. Very nice set. Very heavy and well made. Simple to put together and now my set is complete. Thank you Walmart for bringing this set back.

I don't have anything bad to say about this piece of furniture. It was easy to assemble (with only one person, me) and it looks great. The directions were easy to follow and included pictures. I made sure not to over-tighten the screws and to use a little wood glue in the joints for added strength. The quality of the construction (real wood) amazed me. I thought I was one decorative knob short, but found my cat had been playing with it and had knocked it under the sofa. I would recommend this product to anyone. I only wish they made a sofa table to match. I'd be first in line to buy it! I live in a log home and the style fits perfectly with my decor.

A fantastic bargain!

I love this table! I use it for a tv stand for my 47" tv and it works great. The finish is really nice and the wood is very sturdy and thick. Nothing flimsy about it. The small drawer is perfect for my XBox games and controller. It was very easy to assemble. The only problem I encountered is that it arrived with only 3 legs. I logged onto the web site at www.altrafurniture.com and filled out a form for a missing piece. They responded quickly and I received the missing leg 7 days later. I was disappointed to have to wait another week to put my table together, but the wait was definitely worth it and the customer service was appreciated. I highly recommend this little table to those who are looking for a small table.

Wonderful table for small spaces.

There are lots of SOLID wood pieces and the engineering (for the assembly) is first rate. The load rating is even given! For a smaller room (Man Cave) these are perfect!

This unit exceeded my expectations for > $100

I was replacing my old one and did not realize this is for very small people and its very low to the ground, had i known I would not have got it.

Its smaller then I expected

This is a beautiful table...However when we opened the box our first reaction was to send it back because of the damaged condition. We needed it for a Holiday party so we spent 3 days repairing and assembling the unit. It got pretty badly broken up in the box somehow.
I had to glue the table top sides and let them dry overnight. Next the stripped screws
supporting the sides had to be replaced with larger ones.
The lower table shelf had to be glued and clamped overnight as the sides were coming apart.

Package Contents and Condition

This item was delivered damaged but from looking at the packaging(in good shape) the item was put into carton with lower panel busted in half...... returned to walmart for full refund

manufacturer needs better quality control

Seemed like a great deal and looked nice online. Easy to put together (easier with two people), directions are pretty clear. Quality is fine on outside but pieces do not fit together correctly, several pieces were broken or not glued correctly so I had to re-glue, re-screw, etc. before I could use the table. Not every person would be able to do that. Box was undamaged so I assume "damage" is more from poor quality materials. Pegs on the legs that are supposed to be decorative ALL had to be glued as they aren't even made to the correct size and had "spacers" of thin wood shavings inside the holes! Two fell off in shipping and almost got trashed with box. Obviously made in a foreign country with less quality standards.
