My Sun Joe hedge trimmer works great! It's well made. The telescoping pole and the adjustable angle head are a big plus to me. A whole lot less climbing up and down the ladder. It makes trimming bushes and hedges so much easier. I Love it! Glad I made the purchase.

Worked great, how long it lasts who knows?
I passed it back and forth in the bin with all the cuttings, was like running a butter knife through it.

Great way to stay off a ladder! The shoulder strap if worn correctly helps to reduce the weight of the unit. Finished my grapefruit and orange tree topping in less that ten minutes with ease.

Pole Trimmer a Wonderful Time Saver!

The electric pole hedge trimmer is great.  I have hedges over 8 feet tall and 6 feet wide.  I am 5.5" and in my 70s.  The pole hedge trimmer allows me to do my own trimming.  My only issue with the pole hedge trimmer is it is, for me, heavy.  That being said, my hedges have never looked better!!

With this product, I was able to reach and trim the top of some tall shrubs.  Although it is heavy, it did solve out dilemma of either buying a taller ladder or hiring the work done.

Problem solved

The unit without the strap is difficult to handle if you are not a weight lifter or have above normal upper body strength. I discovered this when the strap attachment to the pole broke. I improvised with a "S" hook and hose clamp.

Good idea

Item came as described.  Very nice, easy to assemble and works great.  The only less than perfect is the weight.

I am glad I bought this unit dispite the negative comments. It's true, due to to weight  when the telescopic trimmer is extended it's a little difficult to handle the trimmer. But all and all I like it. It's sturdy, well designed.

Good Product for Your Money

Handling branches .7 inches thick is pushing it a little.  .5 MAYBE.
And advertised as extending to 12.5 to 13 feet.  Yeah, but that includes the 6 foot person PLUS the overhead reach.  Actual extension; about 6 feet.

Served my purpose well, BUT

lightest weight recommend anyone over 60 wear support for back if using for more than a 1/2 hr at a time

best weight that I could find out there I'M 63

TOO HEAVY AND GET ONE USE BEFORE BLADES OR DULL! THIS IS THE TRUTH OF IT AND SEEMS SUCH A WASTE OF MONEY.
