Works great, cuts good, extension saves climbing into trees, all around great tool to have if you have trees in your yard that need trimming periodicaly.

Great Chainsaw

I am 73 years old and I am removing the lower 12 feet of limbs off my commercial stand of fir trees. Saw is quick to move from limb to limb. I limb 30 plus tree per hour and take a rest every time chain oil is needed. Some limbs are 2" in diameter and saw zips right through them. If I were to hand saw limbs, it would take me 4x longer and my arm much sorer to the same task. Saw works great to reach under bushes and cut them off at base. The "Oregon" chain is staying sharp quite well. The wood chips build up in spocket area due to my heavier oil, so I pull cover and clean it out every hour. I am using saw at a nearly vertical angle, so I just lower saw and run motor to be sure oil reaches blade bar. After putting 2 hours of steady limbing the motor do not even get warm. I should finish my 2 acre area in about 8 hours. The trigger does not tire my hand out. Arms tire maybe because of holding saw more vertical more of the time. I have a small generator mounted on rear of my tractor, and I use a 10 gage 100 ft long cord to reach out through trees, then I drop to a short 12' -16 gage cord at the saw end to make moving around trees a bit easier. I have my wife moving the cord and clearing the limbs that fall on the cord. Generator uses hardly any gas and runs on near idle most of the time. I am very please with my SWJ800E saw. The saw weight is less than other saws, and the two year warrenty made me more sure to buy saw. This saw should last me many seasons.

Cuts limbs till your tired out

I bought this because I needed something to cut limbs and especially to cut some limbs from a younger maple tree that was in between some rose bushes. The telescoping pole came in real handy to prevent me from cutting my arms from the thorns on the rose bushes.  It cuts through tree limbs like butter.  I read other reviews about the oil leaking. I wrapped plumbers tape around the threads where the oil cap screws on and it prevented it from leaking. This was a good investment.

i tried it out on some bradford pear tree's,small limbs only worked very well.
i am not new to these saws. i have a remington pole saw but it is very heavy
an awkward in thick trees. this one is not as heavy as the remington angets to
limbs smoothly..

A little heavy, but thought it might be when extended. But is lighter than a lot of others and was powerful enough to do the job. Wasn't nearly as dangerous as the precautions in the instructions led me to believe. I am used to a chain saw and this is the perfect mate for it. Bartamus

Very Satisified

It's easy and safe to use , having the blade away from your hands and face fells better ,always starts never needs gas , it's so quiet your neighbor won't hear you in his yard cutting down whatever it is that's bugging you .

This little saw great for the price !

We've just had the saw for two days. My husband used it first and was pleased with how easily it cut through a high tree limb. I used it today to trim our Bradford pears. I was really getting into it! The only drawback was that it would heat up quickly and then not run until it cooled. But that gave me time to haul the branches to the burning pile. I think if I were to extend it, it would be too heavy for me; however my husband didn't have a problem. All in all, we're extremely pleased.

So far, so good...

The chainsaw work great, when retracted of elongated. Cuts branches with no problem. I stored it standing up overnight and found all the oil leaked out and all over the handes and my garage floor. Checked the cap and it was tight. I not sure what I'll do now. Nice and light, with power to spare, but leaks like a sieve.

Worked Great, leaks oil however!

Easy to set up. Great feature is the telescopic handle which allows you to get the saw in the exact place you need it. Cuts easily and cleanly. The only downside is that it is a little heavy to use when the pole is fully extended. I guess most others would be too, to be honest and most don't have a telescopic handle, so may feel heavy all the time.
