This is a LARGE bag.  It comes delivered in a sturdy packing box.  Especially for someone who no longer can lift hefty bags into a trunk and out again, this is ideal.  Boxes stack nicely in garage until I need to use one.  I can walk it end over end out to the garden area and then cut open the box.  Dirt itself is very good consistency.  I'm trying peonies in large pots and read somewhere that you need a very loam based potting soil for these.  This is what I searched for when I found this.  It does appear to be a very loam based formula but still light and fluffy which is needed for pots.

This is quality potting soil with ample perlite for good drainage..i did notice some clumping in the bottom of the bag, it was dry and appeared moldy.

Really like this for mixing in with o ther soil with all my containers. It is lightweight and seems to stretch far in mixing.  It has a nice texure and odor  It does not compact down into hard lumps and does the job I want it too.
