I really my new white kettle!   It is light-weight but still strong and lasts us a good three to four years.  Why I like that it is light in weight is the fact that when the kettle is full with the 1.7L of water, the kettle itself becomes really heavy and so it does not take a lot of work to lift it.  So for me this is a selling feature.  I have bought other kettles before and did not like that they were heavy to begin with and therefore never re-purchased them again.  We use our kettle up to five to ten times a day so it gets a lot of usage.  It is easy to set up, getting it cleaned up for initial use.  This is my second time I am buying the Sunbeam and would definitely buy it again.

I love this product! It is exactly what I wanted in a kettle. It takes up little room on my counter top but still has lots of water capacity. I don't need to take up my stove which leaves more room for cooking.

Sunbeam Cordless Kettle

Nothing to complain about. The item is hidden, which I find good; easier to clean. There is a blue light that lights up when the device is on. I have just heated the minimum amount of water so far and the waiting time is reasonable.

Awesome kettle!

Have only had the kettle for a month but it works great and looks great too. Black with a blue light which matches our other appliances like our coffee maker and dish washer.

Good value

I bought this Sunbeam kettle as my last one was also a Sunbeam and they are almost the same kettle looks wise. Also my old kettle didn't need to be replaced due to any mechanics in It's ability to heat the water in a fast manner. Here are the pros and cons, and ultimate reason for the need the new kettle:
- handle: old had a nice soft rubber grip on it's handle, which made it much easier to hold, especially when full.. This one: no grip.
- this kettle felt lighter right out of the box, so was that much lighter when full. 
- opening of lid: the old kettle had 2 buttons one on either side of the lid which had to be pressed together to open the lid which got stuck one day, soI couldn't open the Iid to fill or clean kettle. This is why I needed a new one. To open this one you just slide your hand into opening on lid and pull! No mechanics that can go wrong in opening of kettle! If this version of the old kettle still runs as long as the old one was still doing, it will be a good kettle. I'd recommend this kettle to anyone.

Reasons for buying, pros/cons of kettles.

I bought this kettle 3 weeks ago and cleaned it and used on a daily basis, multiple times a day. It actually heats up pretty quickly and quietly, so that was good. I also didn't experience any leaks as other reviewers have mentioned. However, after about a week and a half I noticed little rust spots on the inside of the bottom of the kettle. And a week and half after that, the bottom was more than half rusted out. I don't want to boil anymore water in there to drink, and I will be returning the kettle.
