Easy to use, easy to clean.

Bought it in May 2018 - Worked without any issue, wasn't particularly noisy until today (April 2025) when I noticed it leaking. Came aross this page when I was looking to buy the same one again.

This is my second kettle in 6 months.  Time to get rid of it already. It is terrible when heating water. Sounds like a popcorn machine and wakes everyone up in the morning.

Noisy Kettle

All the love I had for the cordless feature aspect disappeared tonight , when I went to turn it on , the light flickered , it sparked , I grabbed it immediately and it flamed up. I dropped it in sink of water. I immediately unplugged base and disposed of both pieces . The smell was unreal . I will

Caught fire !!

Got this kettle as a gift for my birthday in Nov. Worked fantastic, boiled water quickly, easy to clean and refill. Then the blue light started to flicker,  but still worked for a week or so, then it completely died. Does nothing when I plug it in. Of course I had just gotten rid of the box it came in the week before, in a spring cleaning frenzy, and receipt must have been in box as I cant locate it. Have contacted sunbeam to see if anything can be done with no response. Do not buy this kettle!

Worked great, for 6 months :(

Bought this kettle 2 months ago and shipped with my stuff to another part of the country.  Just plugged it in for the first time and it is leaking terribly.

Waste of money

I bought it at walmart 6 months ago and within the first 3 months, the switch that opens the lid broke. I have to manually open the lid with my fingertips very carefully. I have already thrown away the box it came in and the receipt as well because nobody keeps those receipts and boxes for this long. Please hear me out Sunbeam.
