I thought I would make bread a few times a year, no more! But after the first try I found it so easy and good that I already made several breads in this machine, it is extra easy to use, easy to clean... a real charm! I recommend 100%!

So glad I bought this bread maker. This is the first bread maker I have purchased. Such a time saver! I had never made bread from scratch before, it's easy and tastes much better than store bought. The instructions are easy to understand, comes with a measuring cup, and tbsp/tsp combo. Sometimes I use it just to make the dough for dinner rolls. I especially like the window on the top so you can check on your bread's progress or check the consistency of the dough. You can lift the lid to add water or flour to your dough during kneading if needed. Very happy with this purchase!

Got this for xmas. So far it works great. I have only made the regular bread and have had no problems of it rising correctly. I read some negative reviews and was a little worried about some things. Just read manual and this will resolve the problems they have. Like, the paddle won't come out. Once pan cools, I fill up with warm water over paddle for 15 mins or so, and it pulls right off for cleaning. Also, some say bread sinks in middle. I can see where teaspoon and tablespoon may be confusing, so maybe they are putting wrong amounts of liquid in it? Maybe it's the climate? I live in Texas. Anyway, so far, everything works and performs excellent. Great buy! Thanks!

I have had machines that cost much more, but did not have the features I like. I have worn out two of these machine due to constant use. After the last one died I did a lot of research, and it was my only choice for a replacement. I primarily use the dough feature, and because I can delay the start time, I can set it up in the morning, and when I come home from work the dough is ready for whatever I need it for (bread, pizza, calzones, flat bread, hamburger buns, sub rolls, etc)

Best bread machine I have found

I've used this bread maker four times since receiving it a month ago, and I'm very happy with its ease of use. For the 1.5 lb loaf, the only button I need to press is the "Size" button for 1.5 lb vs 2 lb. The rest is already set to default, so just push Start after putting in your ingredients that's listed per basic bread recipe in enclosed pamphlet. I'll mention that, after using bread flour, I decided to try using organic all-purpose flour instead of the recommended bread flour because all-purpose flour is one-half the price of bread flour-- you know what-- I couldn't tell the difference, so that might help anyone on a budget.

Easy to use bread maker

I bought two of these, one for myself and one for my parents. It works great and once you get a recipe you enjoy, the bread is super. Very easy to use, and makes bread in no time! Excellent!

Wonderful product!

I CAN'T DO ALL THE MIXING AND KNEADING I USED TO DO SO THIS IS AMAZING, SOMEHOW IT DOES IT ALL AND BAKES IT! WE ARE ADJUSTING OUR FAVOURITE RECIPES AND THEY ARE WORKING FINE. NO MORE SOY BREAD FROM THE STORE. JUST LOVE THIS MACHINE.

GETTING OLD BUT LOVING HEALTHY HOME MADE BREAD

I am happy with this bread machine, hot fresh bread is awesome! I have tried 3 different recipes and they all came out good.

Good bread machine

I've made quite a few loaves by hand, and possibly hundreds of loaves with my (formerly trusty) B&D Breadmaker (B1650 or so), so I know a thing or two about bread.  This breadmaker does make bread, but required incredible precision in measurements to produce a consistent loaf, compared to doing it by hand or with the B&D.  It has settings for a 2lb loaf, which is great, except that the loaf is too tall to fit in a typical sandwich-sized lunch container or bag.  It has a decidedly inferior recipe book as well: e.g. it has a recipe for "sweet dough" but none for pasta/pizza dough; approximately half the recipes are for jams and glazes, which is clearly not what most people buy a breadmaker for.  In all, I won't be returning this breadmaker, but I probably should have tracked down another B1650.

It makes bread, but only just.

An easy-to-use breadmaker that has not changed in design or manufacture for several years. It's well worth the price, and it makes a variety of breads with no fuss. The cookbook provides basic recipes for whatever it can do (breads, dough, jam, etc.), and you can change or improve on the recipes with little danger. I've purchased a number of bread machines in the last 20 years. This one has been the most reliable, making two or three 1 1/2 pound loaves every week.

Rugged, no fuss unit. well worth the price.
