First of all, if you want your filter to last long and not turn brown and get moldy quickly then quit using tap water which is full of digusting stuff.. Use distilled or reverse osmosis water, then add to the water supply a small capful of hydrogen peroxide. When it mixes with the water it kills and residual bacteria and makes the filter last longer. You can get hydrogen peroxide at any drug store as dentists use this to remove bacteria from their equipment etc. Its safe.

bought this a week ago,awesome product,this is not an air conditioner so don't expect to make your room cooler,it's humidifier duh?

Had my unit for 3 years now. Very Quiet! Puts about about a Gallon of water each day. Getting a second one for our bedroom. Some people have complained about moldy filters, it might be that they already have spores in their air/house to have formed so quickly. My wicks lasts about one winter season (approx. 4-6 months). I flip the wick every so often and let soak before running.  Keep it off the floor as it will pick up more dust, reducing wick efficiency and remember to clean the tray.

Love our unit

Having had ours for over 4 years, we're happy with the unit. Our only issue is the availability of filters. Please advise where I can buy in Cobourg, Ontario, Canada. I'm tired of looking!

Great unit. Buy 6 filters with it.

I have it for 2 weeks and it works wonderfully in addition to the small noise that it makes my daughter calm and helps her to fall asleep!

Problem of replacement parts. Disposable device.

Good for 1 year

I bought this product when i have my baby as my family doctor recommend me to buy humidifier. first glance to this humidifier i feel that it was good as it has filter even though you need to buy one. my concern is that,not even a month of changing the filter i find bad odor in the air from the filter as it has molds in it. i have a baby and that concerns me most,so i stop using this machine coz its wasting my money and giving me a big concern to our health!!!

I bought this model about a year ago and the tank cap is missing. I can't have replacement parts, so disposable after a year of use. That's unacceptable.

I bought this humidifier and was instantly confused by the month setting. How can you set it to a month without some sort of guide? Which region is this setting based on? Beyond that I wouldn't even give this product one star because it simply does not work but you can't post a review without giving it at least one star. Total waste of money. I'm furious.

I've had this humidifier for 3 weeks, and it doesn't work anymore. Whenever I turn it on, all I get is a humming noise. Electrical outlets work fine, so I know it's the unit. Other than that, I notice a slight difference in the air when the unit does work, but it's not enough for me to recommend purchasing.
