If you drink  more than 4 cups of brew per day you should opt for the larger 12 cup model.  This one fit my coffee drinking habits very well though.  I am very satisfied with the performance, ease of use and price of this one.  It is not complicated either.  One button.

Good coffee maker for small apartment

I have been using Mr. Coffee machines for years. I love the smaller ones as I live alone. I brew 2 cups every morning. One at a time, it always tastes great and it is fast and easy to do.

Just add water, coffee grounds in the individual filter, then brew away. You can even time this machine for a later time to brew a nice hot cup later on the day or night. Simple and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mini Mr. Coffee 5 cup coffee pot, is small but mighty! It makes 5 cups (25 oz) of coffee in a full pot. It was safe & tightly packed in the box, honestly getting it out of the box was the hardest part of the process lol. The filter basket is light weight & spring loaded like most others. There is a water level indicator window on the outside to see how much coffee you'll be brewing. I personally put 3 tablespoons in for this full pot, but the instructions say 1 tablespoon per cup. This model has a simple on/off switch with a green light indicating that the machine is on. The coffee brewed so quickly! Within 2 mins of turning it on, there was coffee in it, the full pot pictured below took about 5 minutes! It came out super hot. I shared with elderly neighbors, who added an ice cube in oder to drink it. The size of this mini Brewer, is perfect! I live in a mainly senior housing apartment building & we have very little counter space. It will fit perfectly next to my microwave in my kitchen! With how well this works, my self & my neighbors will enjoy coffee together more often!

Mini, cute & super quick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Mini Coffee maker and to my surprise I love it!! The size is perfect! I have limited counter space and my kitchen is small so the Mini fit perfect in my kitchen. I'm also not the biggest coffee drinker but I do enjoy drinking a cup or so in the mornings and the size for serving is great, it makes enough for me to enjoy my cup or two but not enough to the point I feel bad tossing the left over out. Overall enjoy this coffee maker

Great size

I bought my little coffee maker a month into our Stay at Home orders and it has served me well. Unfortunately the carafe was broken today. I can't find a reasonably priced replacement so I will be buying another Mr. Coffee 5-cup coffee maker soon. I like it that much!

Great little coffee maker

I e had this for five months and it works well- makes good coffee and makes it hot. But, the plastic brew basket that you put the filter in has broken. There's a spring with a little knob in the bottom of it and that broke off. I've searched high and low and there is no replacement! Now I can't use the entire machine because the cheap plastic part on the basket is gone. It's such a waste. Also, this happened on my previous mr coffee machine that was a different model. I wish they'd make that Part with better quality so the knob doesn't fall out and break. Or at least sell the replacement part so the whole machine doesn't have to get tossed.

No replacement parts

Have had these pots for years. Never a problem. My 4 cup was getting too small. Bought this one and returning it just as fast. The design is inconvienent. Lid opens sideways. Doesn't leave a lot of room to fill water. The spout (not on 4 cup model) has to be moved over to place filter and add coffee. Then it has to be returned and filter has to be adjusted to fit under spout. If it was made the same as all others, where lid opens straight up and no spout, it would be a lot easier and not at all awkward. All these should have been illustrated in pics.The design doesn't make for ease or better coffee.Glad I kept my 4 cup.

Keep the 4

My wife bought me the 25 oz. mini coffee maker for Christmas and it did not work, returned it for an exchange. The replacement unit (the exact same model) turns itself off anywhere from 5 mins to 1/2 hr after brewing coffee, it is nowhere near the 2 hr. turnoff time stated. This is super annoying having to turn the unit back on all of the time. I have looked online for the correction to this problem but found none time to return and go with another maker.
