I'm a quilter and really wanted an iron dedicated for clothing so I could keep my quilting iron dry. We use the steam feature for clothing but never for quilting. So I bought three irons from Sunbeam. This one was to be our dedicated steam iron. It has been a wonderful iron. It doesn't leak, steams beautifully and easily handles all the wrinkles we throw at it. My previous steam iron was a high end, high cost iron and it leaked like a sieve. This is a great iron

Sun Beam

I purchased this iron after my sister purchased one & it is the best iron ever!  I do a lot of quilting which requires a lot of ironing & this iron is the BEST.  I have purchased several expensive irons & none compare to this one.  I would recommend it to anyone/everyone that uses an iron.  I was also very pleased at how fast it was shipped & delivered. FANTASTIC!!

We bought this iron to replace a similar one that we had had for probably more than 10 years. I loved the last one, so was really sad when it started to die. This new version has the features we liked: retractable cord, auto shut-off, variable heat and steam, but is even better than our older model. I use this iron all the time for sewing projects and so far it has been excellent. We have probably had it for a month and a half or so.

This one's a winner.

Does everything I need it to

I purchased the Sunbeam Master Iron a couple of weeks ago.  My previous iron had left me practically in tears, leaking water all over clothing I was ironing and leaving marks from the bottom on the clothing as well.  I felt like tossing the iron out my kitchen window!
I read an ad for the Sunbeam Steam Master and saw the price.  Very, very reasonable.  I thought why not?  So I ordered one and waited, and when it arrived it was a great day!  I was able to iron things quickly with great steam support, and the pointy front of the iron is great for getting into smaller places to iron them.  
Since that day I must have said to my husband 8 or 10 times "That is the best iron we have ever had!"  (And between you and me, I hate ironing!)  
So, if you are feeling anything like I did about your iron and ironing in general, check             out the Black and Decker Steam Master Iron with Retractable Cord.  You may end up liking to iron!

This Is One Fabulous and Affordable Iron!

This item does exactly what it claims to. I like the fact that it is not heavy, but it definitely feels durable. It steams vertically after priming the iron for about 6 times. But does a nice job overall. I love the retractable cord. The only down side is that it is difficult to fill the water, while checking for the fill line at the same time. Most irons are difficult to fill anyway.

Outstanding performing iron

Wonderful iron!  I love the weight and size of it, it heats up quickly and does the job well.  I can see the level of water (which I could not on a previous iron I owned), and the retractable cord is an added bonus.  Also, since I bought it online, it cost much less than any other model at any of the stores I checked out.

Love this iron!

My last Black and Decker was constantly, not sometimes but everytime. Then I got a Rowenta. Beautiful, did a great job--BUT it felt like I was lifting a ton (2,000#'s-literally). I have had such severe arthritis in my dominant right hand that it required surgery 2 years ago. So far 2 irons down. Hand still not 100% and I don't iron as much since I am now retired--however, the Sunbeam I ordered (and received) was pleasantly not heavy nor cumbersome and it NEVER leaks!!! I subtracted 1 point because I have felt a bit of hesitation with the 'retractable' cord. I doubt that will last a long (?) time, but that is not important to me. Good product Sunbeam.

Attractive and not too heavy
