I bought this two days ago in lieu of a shock collar because it was less expensive. I have a 6 year-old dog, which I adopted and had tried everything to handle its excessive barking, scratching at the door, and jumping on furniture. My dog was so crazy I couldnt calm him down. I even went to the vet and asked for medication (which they wouldnt give me). I have just been pointing it at the dog and saying no when he barks or jumps on the furniture. He winces a bit and then stops. In 2 days I have trained him not to bark once the door is opened and not to jump on the furniture!!! I have done in 2 days what I had been trying to do for two years. I was honestly ready to give the dog up. Thank you!

I have two small dogs with the annoying high pitched barks. The smaller of the two is the loudest and she barks incessantly at the smallest of noises (doorbell, alarm system door chime, etc). And when she would start barking, her brother would join right in. I honestly wanted to get rid of her.
My wife bought this little egg gem while I was out of town. I returned home and opened the door thinking that the dogs would run for the door and barking loudly. I heard not one peep out of them! I thought they must be sick. The next day someone rang our doorbell; a sure way to create havoc, pain, and anguish to my ears. Again, not one peep out of my dogs.
This thing works!

I just bought this yesterday because my puppy won't stop barking in the car and was starting to hurt my ears. One quick push of the button and she stopped. All I have to do is show the Egg to her and she stops. She also seems more calm.

It's amazing!

This hand held device is the perfect solution to a neighbor's dog that is outside most of the day and night and aggressively rushes the border fences with teeth showing every time I go in my yard.  The neighbors have never once corrected her.   She is a somewhat neglected, year old Labradoodle.  The first time I used it, she shied away about 10 feet from the fence, then stopped and looked around bewildered, and then wanted to go inside her house.   The sound is very effective without harming the dog, IMO.  The mini Sonic Egg is less expensive and mobile, so I can use it when I walk my dogs and we are aggressively rushed by neighbors' dogs.  I would highly recommend this device for starters and later maybe switch to the larger one if needed.    It is easy to use and fits well in my hand and also has a strap to carry it.

I bought this egg to see if it would help I was a little skeptic but when I got home to try it out I was amazed so now when take my two little ones for a walk I take it with me like a partner in crime

I bought the sonic handheld egg,   I have 3 chihuahuas and within 3 days they're so much better. The barking, running to the dog and making the neighbors crazy has stopped!   I don't even have to push it anymore. Just say quiet or no.  It has changed our household peace in ways no one believes!!!   Best money ever spent.

It REALLY worked

All we say now is "No Bark"  and they stop barking.   It took us training a few times with that command and  3 short beep beep beeps...and now they listen the first time.  We now just have the little egg on the end table as a 'just in case' they forget!   Totally have broken my bad barkie butt dogs!!!

I had mine for only 5 days & had to return it. I have 4 dogs & it works great for 3 of them. The 4th is SUPER sensitive (who knew?) & by the 4th day, didn't want to go outside. If a dog barked inside she would get up on the bed, shaking hard enough to shake the bed. Had to return it because of her.

Love it with 1 exception.

I have had this thang for about one month.
I am using this with a well timed verbal command and it has worked well for me. My dogs used to flip me the middle claw and now they snap to attention.
I was skeptical and now I am wowed.I had used a squirt gun also in the past and that was fairly successful too. That was not good for the wood floors either. The bigger automatic outdoor version was also purchased at the same time and the jury is still out with limited results.

Handy Little Device

I had bought this is the past and put it away until my wife found it stashed in a drawer. We couldn't remember what it was or who bought it until I pressed the button. It doesn't startle my dog, but instead she just cocks her head to the side trying to figure out what she is hearing. Then I remembered that it didn't phase her back when she was having a barking frenzy the first time I tried it.

It makes the ultrasonic noise but not effective
