Can be straightforward, but may require effort.

Has a visually pleasing exterior that complements home decor.

I put it together by myself--not too bad.  It took a couple hours.  The pieces fit together pretty easily.   It seems sturdy.  We're going to buy another one.

great shed

This is a great option if it's the right size for your space. It looks good which is a big plus compared to many other brands. This applies to every shed but remember before you buy, you have to build a wood frame or pour a concrete slab for these to sit on if you don't have one already. That adds additional time and expense if you don't already have the slab but again, all sheds will need this. Suncast provides the exact plans for the wood frame which was nice. The shed is definitely a two person job as the directions state but everything came together great. Some of the screw holes were a little tough to line up but they all ended up coming together great and that only made the structure stronger. For a semi-handy person, I'd budget 4 hours for the foundation and 6 hours for the shed construction. Overall. this is a great option.

Great Shed

The shed went together easily in an afternoon. The material it's made of is perfect for our wet climate, it won't rust. It's built strong as well. It is the perfect size to hold all the yard tools,, and mower without towering over the fence line and being unsightly for the neighbor. So happy to have room in the garage again! Buying it at Walmart was also a good experience. We ordered on line, the shed came in a little earlier than expected, they notified us via text and e mail and done.

good quality shed

Purchased the item as a Christmas gift for my mother. Knew better than to try and put together with husband so had a friend (construction experience) put it together. Had it done in half a day. Said the manual was easy to follow, no defects found in material and all parts assembled nicely. Wall seams fit together pretty well but took an extra step to seal the roof/ridge seams (we live in Oregon) to ensure interior remains dry through heavy rains. Product looks great and Mom loves it! No regrets on the purchase.

Make sure your foundation is perfect! My doors won't shut because I have it temporarily on my back patio which is slightly out of level. The doors won't shut. Otherwise it's a really quality shed. I did the math and you save about $400 over building a shed from scratch. Assembly took about 4.5 hours with setup and clean up plus a quick lunch break. Some panels needed coaxing to get together but eventually they got there. You can put this together by yourself however you could benefit from an additional hand when assembling the roof.

Goes up fast and is decent quality. But....

The product is very very cute and after awhile and some compromises I got it together.
Their seem to be a few small manufacturing problems regarding fit which I had to overlook.
The roof was hard to assemble. I couldn't get it completely right but you wouldn't notice.
One thing that I think works is to completely skip the recommendation they have to build a
6x6 slab or a 2x6 wood foundation. You can assemble this in 4-6 hours.

It really looks great!

I could have purchased this item from any of a number of vendors but as it turned out, I selected Walmart and it was a very easy process for a large and bulky product.  The storage unit itself was a good purchase - not difficult to assemble and so far, appears to be sturdy.

Buying from Walmart was Great

Had it up and usable in about 4 hours. My 9 and 11 year olds read the instructions and brought me the pieces floors and walls were up in about 30min. The roof was a little tricky but not too bad.

Went together fast and easy

It's been nearly two years since we purchased this shed. It's been good, but not great.When putting it together, we had to cut the tabs at the base of some of the wall panels to allow them to fit the floor. Not a great start. The roof panels are terribly designed. Expect leaks during moderate to heavy rainfall. A decent silicone caulk in the seams of the roof on both sides will solve the problem. Our neighbor's Suncast shed (different model) also leaked in the same spot on the roof. The primary purpose of these sheds is to keep weather out which they do not do without your own modification. We also installed barrel bolts on the top and bottom of the exterior of the doors. The plastic doors are slightly warped, so the barrel bolts help keep them tightly closed. Our neighbor's Suncast shed door also happens to be warped. If you're a little handy and don't mind having to make a few modifications, then this shed may be for you. It is just big enough to fit a full-size push mower straight in. I also have my full-size grill in there along with a weed wacker and pressure cleaner and several rakes and shovels. Adding shelves supplied by Suncast may be the next addition we make.
