Defects

Build quality and construction could be improved.

Battery door and connections may be prone to damage.

Requires minimal effort for simple operation.

Can last a long time, but may vary in duration and reliability.

Can be affordable, but also steep for some features.

I was so happy when I learned this was back in stock. Looks nice, works smoothly, and awesome time-saver.

Awesome

walmart.com

Works well easy to use. Have shoulder to issues and unable to use crank handle . This is a wonderful
Option

Works well

This is a great invention and works great. Keeps hose intact and easy to unwind manually and with a step of the foot winds back into place

Back Saving product

I received in the fall of the year and used it once before the winter. It is convenient to automatically reel this hose back because hoses are heavy! You do have to guide it so it will rewind neatly. Also, I drained the hose and connections and bought a cover so I could leave it in place during the winter. When winter is over I will leave the next review to see how it holds up in winter.

Gardening Assistant

Love this! Much better than crappy manual hose reels that get heavy and difficult to turn, tip over and harbors weeds and bugs. Exactly what I was looking for. Slightly bigger overall size but other than that, very pleased. I think Drawer in front is bit of a waste but stays shut once in place

Excellent for winding up hose

Electric hose reel

This is perfect for seniors with limited physical ability. Easy to charge and like the fold down drawer to keep nozzle and some extras handy.

Handy hose

I was very happy for many years w/the water powered hose reels. I don't like that I have to charge a battery for this one. I've already misplaced the charger.

I'm handicapped so dealing with the hose just laying all over when the device for rewinding was a manual rewind was always the case. This device rewinds my hose very well. One note tho-I first put a 100' hose in it and that did not work. Got all bunched up on one side. When I had it changed out to a 50' hose it works marvelously. Probably could do 75' fine as well.

Very handy

Samsclub.com

The battery life was horrible. I could only role my hose up two times, and it was dead. It was constantly being charged. It was such a hassle that I stopped using the battery and would role it up by the hand crank. This took place for two weeks of ownership before I threw the whole thing in the trash and went back to my old one because it's easier to manually wind. Frustration at every use, and I wasted money.
Walmart, please dont sell this to customers!

Battery life is trash
