This gazebo was fairly easy to put up. Once the stakes are in it's very sturdy. I bought it to put up for an ourdoor party. It provided plenty of space for the food tables and for a few patio chairs. It's been up for a week now and it's been rainy and windy. There have been no problems with anything except to push the edge of the canopy up where the rain accumulated and pooled. With the netting all zipped up and closed it is actually pleasant to sit outside in the evening since the mosquitos can't get in. Although this was the least expensive gazebo I found (both on line and in stores) it is definately better quality than many more expensive products I've seen. I am very happy with this item. It was also shipped free of charge.

We bought this to cover a small 10' ring pool and so far (anchored) it has withstood a couple of really bad FL storms with no ill effects. The netting and roof keeps bugs/leaves out of the pool and all stays nice. It also looks nice sitting in our garden area. It's doing the job!

Doing what it's supposed to!

It completely met and actually exceeded expectations. Not difficult to assemble, lightweight and easy to move and best of all, it's made with quality materials. A very good value for the price and more than adequately replaced the more expensive one we had.

Replaced a much more expensive gazebo with this

the directions to assemble were not the best but we got it up in about an hour. we put some big rocks over the tie downs to help it it from blowing away and it has worked so far. we had 40 mph wind gusts today and its still in the yard. :-) im looking forwad to many awesome days under it.

great value

Love it! My favorite thing about it is the fact that we have had quite a few windy days and it has stayed in place and hasn't ripped. I'm sure with time, the fabric part will need replaced but it has more than served its purpose by shading our patio and I wish I had purchased one sooner!

This is the second and third times I have purchased this item. Best investment I have ever made. Drove all the way to Haines city to get the last two. One is a gift and one I am saving for myself! The one in my backyard now is and has been standing for over three years through Florida wind and rain.

Mainstay Hampton gasebo

We bought this thinking it was one of those "EZ-UP" - type shelters, but it isnt.
You have to fully assemble it.
The gazebo looks nice and the screen is good quality.
The tubes are pretty thin and I fear for it in any kind of stormy weather.
it has to be firmly tied down on all 4 corners or it will wobble all over.
Bottom line:
Flimsier than we thought it was going to be but looks good and works well.
We will revise this review in a few months, to see what happens.

Not an EZ-Up type gazebo

Although the directions are a little confussing when actually attaching the cover, putting the gazebo together wasn't too difficult. I put it together on a non windy day, and everything was fine. However the first windy day that came along the entire gazebo swayed back and forth even with the added tie down string in each corner. It would assume its because of the small poles used in its construction. I ended up securing two of the poles to the fence with a zip tie and then it didnt move. Overall i have to say that this gazebo for the money was a very good buy as it does exactly what i wanted and looks very nice. I would recommend buying this product.

overall pretty good

I was disappointed with this online purchase as I did not realize the poles would be so flimsy. It seems it would blow over with the slightest wind but so far has not blown over. Is great for a temporary fix on the beach for shade but I wanted it for a permanent gazebo in my back yard. Will give to my grands and look for a better made one.

Not very stable - needs to come with a bag for car

Easy to set-up and as attractive as some of the gazebos more than twice the price. But within 24hrs the cheap white plastic corner connectors had broken and the gazebo was in a big heap. The maximum wind was only 7mph, so that wasn't to blame. All the metal pieces and canvas were intact. Too bad such a nice gazebo is ruined by the cheap connectors.
