I needed a way to exercise this old ( 96 in about a week) body that did not involve going out on snowy roads.  With this rowing machine I get a full body work out with adjustable degrees of difficulty.  No weights to fool with, no balance problems, just pull and glide.  Reminds me of my youth on the lake. Love it!

Super easy to assemble. It's quiet, I use it early in the morning, without waking the whole house. Been using it for a couple of weeks now and I feel like a different person. Increase in energy, stamina, elevated mood, core strength.  No more falling asleep in the chair when I get home from work. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to look and feel better. Don't use your knees for an excuse, mine feel better.

No regrets

When we opened the box, it was a little daunting ..  Yes, you have to put together!  BUT,
everything you need is in little plastic bags LABELED!!!  Yes, step 1, step 2....
The first page of the directions are scary.. skip to page 2.  From there it is a piece of cake.  Had this bad boy together in under 10 minutes and I am a non-handy girl!

I have put stuff together before and the directions are never clear.  These are perfect.

The rower itself is really good as well.  (I don't particularly like the velcro on the foot pedals,  I thinks it was made for someone with a HUGH foot, but they work.  I just cut some of the velcro off. )  I have been taking rowing classes and they have the $6,000 machines.  I like this one just as well.  It rows smooth and the tension settings are perfect for my warm ups, rowing, then cool down.

I highly recommend.

Great Rower

Don't be food by the low price on the rowing machine. Its super smooth, very quiet, and has very good simple instructions. Every part fit perfect and it was together in about 35 minutes. I have a home gym and this was a great addition.  My wife and I both love this thing, plus the low cost 4 year Walmart warrantee is great. I paid total of $303 for it all.

Great Rowing Machine

Well made and smooth rowing machine.  It took me about 40 minutes to put it together about a week ago.  have completed only about 2,000 rows in about an hour and a half and it is working very well.  I am 6 foot 1 inches tall with a 34 inch inseam and I have about an extra 4 inches to spare in the back, so this machine would accommodate someone who is much taller.  I am 64 years old and about average strength for my age.  I have it set on  resistence level 6 of 8 and it is a fim pull for me.  Level 8 may not be challenging enough for someone who is very strong.

Well Made Rowing Machine

Like many adding home exercise equipment while avoiding the gym. Im 64 years old and my purpose was to add to an exercise bike to get me to 30 minutes or more aerobic exercise between them. I am able to get into my aerobic zone with this machine and it is a better whole body exercise than just the cycle. Many reviewers talked about parts breaking but after 2 months 2 or 3 times a week we are still going. For those of you coming from a Concept 2 this is not the same experience. If I treated this like I did rowers when I was 30 yrs old I would likely break the foot bed or snap the handle off the nylon strap. For those that mentioned the nylon strap breaking or sliding off the handle I am guessing that the stitching came apart so inspecting the equipment every few uses is important.  Rowers that could compete with the Concept are more than 2to 3 times the price of this rower, weigh more and cant be stored  as easily. I purchased from Walmart for the competitive price and extended warranty from a more reputable insurance company.

For the price and my needs very good value

Took almost 2 hours to put together.  Somewhat of a challenge,  but had some help from my husband with the heavy parts.  I'm a 62 years old, 165 lbs, 5'8" and the hardest part for me was being on the floor to put it together.  Hopefully this rowing machine will get some weight off and tone me up.  I've been going to the pool everyday and riding my bike, but the pool is too cold now and my bike just doesn't give me an all around work out.  I've used the rowing machine 3 x now only on level 2 for about 10 minutes each. I can definitely feel the burn and hope to work up to a higher level.  I think it's good cardio too.  Good price at 224.00. Free shipping with Walmart.

Sturdy machine.

Rower works great. Smooth action. Awesome cardio workout. I got this with high intensity rowing in mind. Which it does quite well. Only one major complaint. There is no distance monitoring. You have no idea how far you have gone. Computer only records: Time, count (how many times the seat slides), calories (which is based on count, not how far you pull the handle).  Still a good machine but kind of a bummer. It's hard to gauge previous workouts and try to beat your old times.

Good Rower but doesn't track distance.

The resistance mechanism didn't provide adequate resistance. The belt failed to recoil at a reasonable rate. I found myself waiting for the belt to fully recoil between reps and the resistance was lacking. For a unit costing nearly three hundred dollars I found a lot to be desired and myself regretting the decision to purchase this unit.
