i got for my kid for Christmas and he really likes to line up his toys so this was a great gift for him. my kids are too little for chess but play with the figures and create their own games. the figures alone make this a great buy....good bang for your buck

Very acccurate to the photo provided. everything came in a beautiful box and the characters are made of good quality. Overall we are pleased and the kids love it!

My 8 year old loves Mario Bros. and has many figures and stuffed animals. So when he saw this chess game at Barnes and Noble he wanted to buy it with his birthday money. They wanted $50!!! I convinced him to wait and let me check on line and boy was he glad because Walmart had it for only $30 and I picked it up at the store for free! This game is very sturdy, has great game pieces, and is a great way to introduce a child to chess. It is great to see him using his brain and not just his fingers, as he does on the video games!

the pieces are to big for the board pieces almost fall over on there ow it is not a great design to play with it but its more like a decorative piece and that isn't what I expected so it is something to look at but not to play on im truly disappointed and i am discouraged to buy another Chess board
