[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a gift for a child or even adult who has all, some or a few of the Mario Bro games and seems a fan, this book makes an excellent and thoughtful gift. It is worth the price. Images are high quality and the content is good: a comprehensive look at the cast of characters, stories, items and history of Mario Bros from its conception and 30 years forward. We are coming up on thr 40 year anniversary, so there is newer game content (post 2014/2015) that is not included. My son asked for this for his birthday and he and my daughter read it every morning for several weeks and still refer to it. They loved it so much, I gave one to my nephews for Christmas, one of which immediately started reading it right after opening his present. This is significant because all of these children, mine included, were born after most of the content in the book came out. They enjoy the history and "evolution" of mario and friends and note the many references the Super Mario Bros movie (new animated one) make. i wouldn't have written this review if I had not received a small incentive. however, this is my honest review. i have purchased this book twice at full price and would not hesitate to purchase this book again.

Awesome book

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for a birthday gift for my Grandson! I bought Lego kits and other stuff as well but this book was his favorite of all his presents. The book is sturdy (good for small kids, he is 8) the graphics are colorful and he's been quizzing me on what he's been reading to me. Very pleased with this purchase.
