Super Sculpey(R) is a unique polymer clay, loved by artists, doll makers and animation studios around the world. It has a ceramic like feel and allows for extremely detailed sculpting. This neutral gray color allows maximum visibility of sculpting detail. Super Sculpey(R) features fine tooling and detailing characteristics, and does not 'fill in' after tooling. Stays soft until baked- Does not air dry. Remains soft until it is baked in your home oven. Extra clay can be stored and reused- won't dry out! After baking, it can be sanded, drilled, carved and painted with water-based acrylic paints. This package contains 1lb polymer clay. Made in USA.

This is my 4th sculpture ever.  My 3rd was about 6 weeks ago but I ran out of clay, I had used beige for it and one of my first two pieces 4-5 years ago. Number one was a German Shepherd using non drying clay. My second piece was a greyhound. Number 3 and 4 were both my boy. They are both about 10" tall. When I ran out of regular beige clay I decided to try the gray. I am loving it. I am about 8-10 hours in and have a bout 30 hours to go.This is my German Shepherd Luka.

Super Sculpey

This gray is very malleable, very nice to work with. I make buildings and it carves very nicely - doesn't pull 
which helps a lot when I'm trying to make details in the clay - second favorite to work with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this clay is so soft, it has to be baked to dry so it never dries out which is such a blessing! it's easier to carve into, to add little details to, and it scores nicely! this is some of the best clay i've ever used! it can be baked in a home oven, no special oven needed. after baking, it can be painted as well!

amazing clay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This “clay” is a bit hard for the younger aged. Clearly the package says 14+ but my 7 year old really wanted to try it out. I had her separate it in chunks to play with it my parts and get it softer, that worked. It kept her interested fir a while and thinking of more ideas on things to create. The instructions are in the wrapper and very easy to follow. We really enjoyed this!

So much fun!

I can see why Sculpey is the go-to of many sculptors/artists. The product is consistent, it's easy to use, and it holds incredibly good detail. I love working with it and can't wait to make more cool sculptures with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Super Sculpey Gray polymer clay is great for this new to sculpting.  The color allows you to see the details, the clay stays soft and doesn't dry out until you bake it.  Then once baked, it is easily painted!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work with clay quite often and usually choose Sculpey though have never used gray sculpey til now. It was a everything I expected it to be! I had preferred it be white or transparent but nothing that can't be paint over. Was a tad tough but became workable rather quickly. Happy with the results!
