[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a bit skeptical after having had a bad experience with another log splitter that didn't work from another seller. The SuperHandy 20 ton splitter is awesome. I was able to assemble it in about 2 hours, with 1 hour more to review the instructions and the motor manual. Be sure to do both before assembly and start up. Parts for each step not in same bag, but not that many it made it harder. Some paint was in holes, so start the bolts before assembly to remove the paint. Paint job could have been heavier, but overall not bad. Step 5 says need allen wrench, but you need a 17MM socket. Step 6, be sure to remove the plastic dust cap in the hole. It wasn't easy to see it in there. Also step 6, be sure to loosen the hose nut at the ram before trying to connect the other end at the tank. Don't strain the hoses. Cheap wrench included. I didn't use it. I used a 10MM, 13MM, and 17MM socket, 3/8" drive with an extension, plus a few adjustable wrenches, at least 12" in size for hose connectors. There are 2 oil drain plugs, but no extended piping. I'll probably remove motor mount bolts before draining oil when I change it and add some elbows, pipe, and a cap at the end so when oil in motor's changed, it's easier and doesn't make a mess on the splitter frame. I may add hard rubber motor mounts too for anti-vibration, although first few logs I split didn't show excess vibration. They would help raise the motor enough for the oil drain piping I'll add later to clear the frame too. Be sure to wiggle the hydraulic hoses as you connect them to make it easier to thread the connectors on and prevent cross threading. If it's going on hard, it's probably going on wrong. I assembled this myself, but a helper would have been nice to install the heavy ram. Running the bolts in and out first to remove the paint on the internal threads helped a lot. They included a nice, plastic funnel with a long neck. Be sure when installing the clear tubing to push it on all the way and have the worm gear clamps nearer the end of the hose when you tighten them. The ends of the hose could have been cut cleaner, but I didn't have any leaks. I paid $59 for the 3 year added coverage, but from what I see initially, as long as I maintain the splitter and don't abuse it, it'll last many years.

We've owned this 20 ton  splitter for over six years. We manage 80  acres of forest land. Needless to say we have used this tool a bunch and it has never given us any troubles. Starts easily,  simple to work and has been incredibly durable. I've just done simple maintenance over the years and it's  still working as well as the day we bought it. Very happy with this purchase

Es una excelente máquina para aquellos de nosotros que tenemos un rancho y nos gusta tener siempre leña recién cortada y cuidadosamente apilada.
 Es fácil de mover gracias a sus ruedas, y es compacto, por lo que no ocupa mucho espacio.

I purchased this Superhandy 20 ton gas log splitter approximately one year ago. It was relatively easy to assemble. I had a stack of wood that needed splitting. I was VERY IMPRESSED how this splitter was able to split the logs and the speed in which it accomplished it ! GREAT HANDY LITTLE SPLITTER WITH POWER TO SPARE ! Superhandy 20 ton gas log splitter

Received mine in four days. Easy to put together and fired up quickly.  I'm splitting Red Oak and some rounds are 14 inches in diameter. No issues.  Took advantage of a Memorial Day sale, very satisfied!

Very satisfied

I used my SuperHandy 20ton log splitter about 5 times and the thing is leaking hydronic fluid. I'm trying to locate maybe a gasket replacement set but idk if the 5 times I used it, does it leak  every 5 times I'm going to use it?
