[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makes short work of fallen leaves, keeping garbage out of landfills and providing an excellent mulch for garden beds and paths. It mulches fine enough that pests don't like it, but worms do. Once you find the rhythm of feeding just the right amount, it goes quickly with very few clogs. Branches larger than 3/8-inch can at times stop the blades, but it's rare and easy to fix.

The build quality seems very good. I operated the unit for around 30 minutes using a 50 foot (%2312 wire size) extension cord with no problems.  The shredder handled damp maple leaves quite well along with 1/2" diameter branches from a fig tree pruning.  Slow the feeding of your leaves or branches when the motor begins to slow down and you won"t have any problems. The bag that came with the unit doesn't work well at catching the output but not a giant problem.  Much nicer machine than others at this price point.

A bit early to see but initial impressions are very good. Well made, sturdy. However, the bag should be made of porous material like burlap to allow dust to pass through. Not surprisingly, it is quite loud but better than a gas engine.

Well made compact chipper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine mulches, but sticks and other debris must be small/softer wood. It clogs quite frequently and branches lock up the mulcher. It looks nice, but functionality is moderate at best.

Functions, but clogs a lot

Great little chopper. We did have to sharpen the blades  as they were dull and the chopper kept getting plugged. Once we sharpened the blades it's been working really good.

Great little machine for the price

If I could give it a zero or negative star I would. 1 Star is being overly generous.  Save your money and just use kitchen scissors to get better results with less hassles  from this NOT so SUPER HANDY Mulcher / Shredder.  First glance this product appears to be sturdy and well built but after a short period of work the motor fails miserably. If you want a product to mulch a small handful of dry leaves then this is the machine for you, however, if you live on anything larger than a postage stamp lot then run in the other direction. It clogs up quickly,  shuts down often and is difficult to clean out. The VEVOR Hay Chopper 2200W Corn Straw Chopper, available at just $488 from a Canadian wholesaler in Toronto,  is a far superior product for just a few dollars more. It features a larger  and stronger electric motor. If you ask GREAT CIRCLE for a return to purchase a larger machine they tell you that their used machines (2 days) have a "poor resale value", that alone should tell you something :(
