Hold Strength

I am so in love with this product line! I have been trying a lot of Shea Moisture products for my 2C hair and while they have all been good, this one is exactly what I was looking for. Which, was recommended by the 100 ways to shea, so thank you so much for finally adding that to your website!!!
I had been using the moisture retention line for my dry, chemically processed hair, and I loved the results on my hair but I still wasn't getting enough curl and the curls only stayed if I used crunchy gel. Then I bought this....
Shea recommended the co-wash, the masque, and this gel for my locks. And I'm so glad I bought it because I've read that other woman complain this is too heavy. I bought the shampoo because I clarify once a week and use the masque after, then every other day I co-wash and my curls have been gorgeous! Before I would pray that my curls wouldn't be too wild or some would fall flat after a wash, now I really can just wash (or spritz with water), apply this delicious smelling gel and viola! They are always lovely, they stay all day and I feel beautiful! So thank you so much Shea Moisture, I can't wait to try your body product line.

My holy grail!

sheamoisture.com

Ok, I'm someone who has had a bagillion awful frizzy gross hair days where I come home and pile on oil to help my hair look okay or literally just shower again to look better. This gel is AMAZING. I use it a little different though.

My routine is: Pre poo with oil, then protein treat, condition, shampoo, put in a light leave in conditioner then get out the shower. Scrunch with a micro fiber towel to get my hair not soaking wet. Then its time to style. I take a dime size amount of this gel along with a dime size amount of the 100% natural shea butter and I mix those together and that makes the best friggin styler ive ever had.

I have low porosity frizzy curly hair and this gel mixed with the shea butter makes it so that my curls are ultra defined and I just have to spritz them with water to refresh them. I do my routine once to twice a week now because of this life saver. I love it!

no flakes, no frizz just happy!
It does really smell though, but it doesn't last on your hair, only if you smell the bottle itself

AMAZING

This is the best thing in the whole world. Better than eco styler gel. My holy grail. I'd die to get this again. No regrets, very defined and moisturized hair. A little goes a long way. Buy this now. It's amazing. Omg I love it.

My first 2 times using this I didn't like it but I'm new to this going natural stuff and I used a different shampoo & conditioner and now I love it! I have very fine, low porosity 2a/2b/2c bleach damaged hair gets oily quickly & that I'm growing out. When used with weightless shampoo & creme rinse I had no body with this gel but in conjunction with the strengthen & restore shampoo and restorative conditioner I get more 2c curl definition & much more body without weight. I am so pleased with the results! Thank you SM!!!!

I'm in love!

My hair is natural blonde and curly/wavy. I have never been able to find a product that worked good on my hair, so the majority of the time I blow dry it straight. When I have left it natural curly, I used Catwalk Curls Rock. This product made my hair dull looking, stiff and crunchy. The Superfruit Soft Curls Gel-Cream leaves my hair soft and still defines my natural curl. Again, I am so happy I found this product. I have also started using other Shea Moisture products and love them. Also, I do not think it has a strong smell.

Love This Product!!

I specifically got a cream gel because I wasn't ready to try a extreme hold gel in my transitioning hair. At first, it wasn't working for me, as I didn't put in the correct amount in my curly 3a/3b hair. After using it for two months (along with the curl & style milk), it really changed the shine and softness of my hair!! I will definitely recommend to my friends and family!

greatest smelling gel ever!!

I have 3b3c low porosity thin fine curly hair. Some crimes or nutters are too thick or dont give nice hold, and some gels give too much hold and shrinkage which I dont prefer. I like elongated curls on me personally. The mix of a gel creme is perfect, hold, moisturize and even to reapply a bit to refresh makes my hair look amazing!! Please dont stop making gel cremes!!

Great for my hair

So upset and disappointed! First Shea Moisture product that I've used and is disappointed with. It left a build of dry flaky residue all over my children's hair and their hair looked dried out. Sooo disappointed!!!!
I have used the Superfruit leave-in conditioner and it worked well but I cannot get it locally anymore so I bought the Superfruit gel cream because it in the same line thinking it would be as good. Heck no it was not! Sooo disappointed! I guess I just thought all their products were great and happened to find out differently with the Superfruit gel cream. I would have understood if it did not keep their hair as moisturized but to leave flaky dried up residue? Sooo disappointed!

Memorable in a Bad Way

This gel flakes so bad on my hair. I literally wash my hair and apply this like any other gel, it doesn't offer much hold on my 3c hair. Literally after my hair dried and I went to fluff my hair little white flakes went flying. Worst SheaMoisture product I've ever tried

Let it snow!

I really wanted to keep this but the smell! As of recently I have noticed Shea Moisture has a tendency to make they're scents very over powering. Which sucks because this gel was awesome it was light but had a nice hold and left my hair very soft, smooth and SUPER SHINY! but the smell was so strong it was giving me a headache! and the scent lingers all day. So i had to return it. Very disappointed because its hard to find a natural gel that holds. And regular gels are too hard and crunchy most of the time. laaammee. shea moisture your letting me down :(

OVER POWERING SCENT!
