Battery Life

After trying other anti-bark devices, I found this one that seemed to offer everything we might need to curb the barking of a min-pin/dachshund mix. A rescue, he has always deemed himself the protector of all that he can see - no matter the distance. In the interest of keeping our dwindling sanity, we have tried to "lessen his enthusiasm" when he determines something or someone is too close to his domain. Although I can not fault the workings of the collar itself, we both find the tiny buttons not to be conducive to old fingers. A larger remote would be a simple fix but it seems the larger the remote the larger the collar. Also, the battery life seems to not be top shelf for duration between charges.

Our Min Pin, Norman would probably give this a 1 star but as his dog mom I give it a 5 star. He's on his best behavior just wearing it around the house and yard. The cats are not being chased after just one beep. The vacuum is no longer attacked on a daily basis with just one buzz. My all time favorite feature is the flashing light. Our Min Pin, Norman loves to climb trees. At night he's in stealth mode and often times I can't find him in our big backyard. I hit the light feature (I named his blinker) and I instantly can see flashing, usually far up in a tree. Notman has never received a zap from the collar as a beep or buzz is all he needs to grab his attention when he had unwanted behavior. Would definitely buy this collar agai

Excellent product!

"There several thing that I liked about this collar,
1. Is easy to set and use.
2. The lock setting is great because it prevents from increasing or decreasing the levels selected.
3. Battery life it's great! I charged it over night to be sure it got well charged. I have been using it on and off for about three days ( I turned it off at night) without seeing that it need to be charged.
4. The collar is light and it's no heavy on my small dog neck.
5. The shock setting levels are strong. I use mine on one and it's strong enough for my dog.
6. I would it like it even more of it would it have a like a flashlight on the collar for when I take my dog at nights to potty (we live out in the country. So, there's not much light at night).
Overall I love it!!! It's worth the money!"

Great collar!

"We got a Yorkie Poo puppy and were having a hard time getting him to stop biting. We decided to try a shock collar with the hopes of getting him to stop the behavior. After hours of research based on our dog's size and weight, we purchased this collar about 2 months ago.
The collar is so effective, that we've only used the sound (beep) function. The battery life is pretty long, as we charge it 2 or 3 times a week for about 2 hours.
The item is a little bulky for my dog, but my dog is all but 7 lbs. We were able to customize the collar to our dog's size and cut out the excess.
Overall we recommend this product as it performs as intended."

Exactly what we needed

"Our Pomski ate a bunch of branches from our bushes in the backyard. Even if we watched him outside, we would not be fast enough to catch him / stop him / re-direct his attention. Finally decided to get a training collar, two in fact to test out.

The first one I got was very powerful and hurt us as we were testing on ourselves even at a low setting. When we tested out this collar, the settings are true and not harsh to the numbers (0-15). Therefore, we put this one on our dog and have loved it! After using the beeps and vibrations, then following up with a shock when he would continue to chew on the branches, we were able to train him out of this behavior.

Now only the vibrations are needed when he is out in the backyard potentially about to do any other undesirable behavior. And the beep has worked as a come inside command.

I like how stylish it is too. Material is great and looks way more modern than the other one I had gotten.

The batteries kind of duck I recommend getting two that was y one is always charged especially if ur like me and forget to turn the darn thing off at night over all though they have good range and we e have not had any problems we it ours as of yet
