I can only give my opinion and as you know, opinions are subjective.  I'm not a fan of the group Supertramp, but I saw someone's review, listened to the album, and then bought it.  I like it because it is a band that does not usually play progressive rock and on this album they did it, in my opinion masterfully.  I read a comment from someone who didn't like it because the album wasn't loud in the first song.  Anyone who listens to progressive rock knows that exactly that is the technique of Progressive Rock.  Just as classical music has different tones, highs and lows, progressive rock is like that.  That's the beauty of this type of music, that adds drama to the song.  You have to listen to it with the volume relatively high or listen to it with headphones or earphones.

Subjective opinion

On side one, the first song, School has a harmonica. My favorite part. I had to almost put it on max on the volume to hear it. The quieter parts aren't loud enough on this album. To compare I had Taylor Swift's Evermore on last and didn't have a problem with volume or all my other records. Very disappointed. I also have this in a CD and don't have a problem with that either. I love the CD.
