A couple of weeks ago I received my Flexseal product. I used it to try and stop a persistent basement  sewer drain pipe leak  that ran from a sewer drain pipe from the house through the basement's cement wall outside to my septic tank.  Unfortunately, in the past , everything I tried failed to stop the small leak. However, after I smeared it with the Flexsea, as best I could, and after three or four days I was delighted to see that it no longer leaked. I was delighted to see that it no longer leaked! Great job.

We've had an on-going problem with our 20 year old fiberglass/gelcoat shower/tub. The leak started as a small hairline crack in the bottom and has grown to 2-3". Over the last 3 years I've patched it twice with the Gelcoat Repair Kits which last a while, but begin leaking again. I did some research and decided to give Flex Paste a try. I covered the leaking area with Flex Paste and have been leak free for a couple of weeks. It seems like a solid repair and we'll see how long it lasts. I like that I can spread the Flex Paste well beyond the crack.

It does all it says it can do.  I have had leaky skylights for over a year and have tried various ways to stop the leak.  Need I say more?  Flex Paste sealed them up.  I am going to get two more tubs of it, just to even out the job, now that the first application has set.

Flex Paste Works

So for 9 years I've been trying to seal my back sun porch which has an aluminum roof. My son and i coated it 4 times, I had a contractor coat it twice and I coated it another 4 times last Spring.  But it still leaked and got considerably worse as time went by.  I thought, what the h%$l, let's give it a try im running out of options.  I sealed the roof prior to a storm so i could get a good test of the seal and NOT 1 DROP! I can't believe it! Although it's only been a month i feel it did the job, time will truly tell but i couldn't be happier.

We purchased this product for some small leaky areas in our house. We had previously used the spray Flex Seal which worked great. However, there were a few areas that needed a long tip to fill in some gaps. Although our purchase had absolutely nothing to do with the Hurricane that was brewing, once we realized the storm would be here sooner than the product I drive around town until I found some to use immediately. We sealed everything we needed but unfortunately nothing could have stopped the force and duration of that storm. We did finally receive the product after the storm and we will definitely use it in the future to reseal all the problem areas once we rebuild that area. This is no reflection on the durability of your product, Mother Nature is just a beast!!!

Wonderful Product/Bad Timing

So far I went through 3 tubs out of 4. In each tub, when I lifted out the foil "seal" there was a ring of dried and hardened paste all around the edge which I had to dig out. Seems like the seal did not seal very well,or the product sat around too long. Also I sure wish the paste was a little softer and easier to spread and work with.

Seal membrane inside bucket only contacted product on 2inches diameter out of 4 5/8” diameter bucket.  Made about 10-20% of bucket unusable because it had hardened into an inch plus thick donut. Tried to patch a crack in wet tar on roof and paste wouldn't stick just rolled up onto other side of putty knife. Worked good on A/C hole in window.

I had a leaky copper pipe in the basement that was slow-dripping water. It continued to drip even after applying a generous layer of Flexseal all around it. Had to call the plumber who cut off the leaking segment and soldered a new end to the pipe. It was also messy to apply.

Disappointed

I ordered this product from Walmart got it shipped to my house on June 15th this year I literally went to go use it and opened it for the first time today the top was all hard rubber with some soft in the middle so it already dried before opening so I had returned it today I need to buy another one hopefully I have better luck cuz I stored the one inside for the last 3 months it should not have been like that otherwise I'm going to get a completely different product it's very expensive having half of the tub already dried was upsetting
