This product makes the pool so much more fun for the little kids. It helps give them confidence when swimming. My granddaughter really wanted to get in the pool but was scarto try. We bought her a Tot Trainer and she loved  putting it on and actually getting in the pool and splashing around.

I bought one of these in the states for our daughter who was too small for many other floatation options that were on the market. I've searched online and in stores in Canada and had no luck finding one, so I was very excited when I finally saw these online through Wal-Mart. All of our mom friends are hoping they come back in stock so they can grab one for their littles as well! Definitely recommend this product!

Favourite floatie for my 1-2 year old!

Excellent swim training gear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tube is very sturdy and I felt very safe with my niece in it. We were able to be in the pool without her attached to our hips. She was also learning to kick and could "swim" across the pool in no time. I would highly recommend for 2 year olds and up who are just getting familiar with the pool.

Wish I found this sooner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My almost 2 year old is too big for his baby float but doesn't know how to swim yet so this will be perfect for learning how to swim this summer! It's so cute and looks comfortable too. I can't wait to try it out.

A summertime must have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 year old absolutely loves this. From the moment we put it on, she was swimming confidently independently. She just went right into the water without fear, and has been swimming so proudly. I like that the design allows free movement of her arms, unlike the puddle jumper style float, and also allows her to lean forward and practice paddling while still keeping her afloat. I imagine we can slowly deflate the tube (there are two tubes, actually, so maybe just deflating a whole tube) to help her move toward more independent swimming as time goes on. I think she should be doing really well by the end of summer. We are hoping she can swim well before our trip to Orlando in August. So far so good!

The only complaint we have about it is the crotch strap. She does complain about it sometimes, and the little pad doesn't really stay in place, so I can see why it's uncomfortable. I try to position it more in the leg area but it moves while she swims, and pulls taught while shes in the water due to her body weight through the tube, so she's sitting on the thin strap right between the cheeks. I think a foll coverage snap-on bottom made of the same material as the vest (like a baby onesie style, so still easy on and off) would have been more comfortable and easy enough to implement in the design (and I would have paid more for that option). I may try stitching the pad in place where it should be, since I don't imagine she will outgrow the strap-size before she is swimming without it, but it doesn't really seem to do that much in the way of padding anyway. Overall, still a great purchase that we have very much enjoyed! Worth it for the proud look on my daughter's face!

My daughter loves this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the concept of this tot trainer and the fabric feels nice and comfortable. The inflatable part seems well-made and secure, which gives me some confidence in its safety. That said, it just feels a little odd to imagine putting my toddler in it…it's kind of an unusual setup, and I haven't actually tried it in the water yet. I'm still on the fence, but it could work great once we give it a proper test.

Interesting design for swimming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does serve its purpose, however, the strap that goes between baby's legs to hold the inflatable tube in place is not very practical. The tube portion raises and the only way to keep baby from slipping through is to potentially give them a major wedgie. The top shirt kept slipping and overqll nothing stayed in place. This is absolutely great for shallow waters to act as a safety precaution, but useless in deep waters. It is very cute though. I think it would work much better if it had a spandex type shorts connected at the bottom instead of or in addition to the strap. The concept is great, but the design is just not right yet.
