I have to admit I bought this on a long shot it would hold some very heavy friends. I found a label on a similar float that said it held 350 pounds. My friends are accustomed to doubling the capacity of pool floats, or more, so I bought this hoping I could float in it with a friend who weighs 450 pounds or so, for a total of over 650 pounds. It was even less likely to work with our weight imbalance, but I found it at a very low price and gave it a shot. Well, I fit in it and could float with someone else who was only perhaps 100 pounds heavier than I am. It was a tight fit, it felt overloaded and imbalanced, but it floated. My much heavier friend, though? We've gotten both of us onto too-small pool floats before, but on this one our weight mismatch was just too much to balance. It was fun trying, but we couldn't float together. So she got on it with someone close to her size, for better balance. You could tell before they got anywhere near their full weight on it that it wasn't going to work. They nearly sunk the float. It kept leaping out of the water when they fell off, like a tiny thing relieved of a great burden LOL. When they tired of that an even heavier friend wanted to get on it! He says he weighs as much as me and my 450 pound friend together, and he wanted on this poor float with her! He thought that they could sink the float completely, and he was right. They pulled it fully under water sitting on it. I added a lot more air to it, until it was more than fully inflated, and still they could sink it. I added more air until it was difficult blowing, and it looked noticeably larger than full, and then I added even more air. It felt like it would burst without anyone even on it, and I resolved that this float was finished as soon as they did get on it. And they did, and it still went under water. Even way way overfilled it wasn't enough air to support both of them. But it somehow survived being overinflated and loaded with three times its weight capacity. Smaller people, including me, then enjoyed it a short while, overloading it by only 150 pounds or so LOL, until my 450 pound friend and the other woman her size tried again to sit on it, and popped it. I'd say the real capacity, the heavier than the manufacturer says but not enough to break it capacity, is more than 500, if the weights are balanced and the swimmers don't mind some instability and if the thing is fully inflated but not overinflated LOL.

Fun float for people who aren't too heavy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sturdy, easy to air up, lots of fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the shape and how colorful! It was as big as I thought it would be. The only problem is my daughter and her friend popped it the first time it went into the pool along with another floaty. It will be patched!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] great float! id say its a little small for 2 full grown adulta but great for kids, teenagers, and more petite adults. only complaint is the valve to blow up needs to be bigger so it could inflate and deflate faster.

fun double float

Works well but after 1 hours use it seems to be losing air. Not sure if there is a defect or if someone accidentally poked a hole but my guess is there's a defect in a seam somewhere. I don't have the time to figure out where the hole is so it probably just won't be used

Bought this for my grandkids new inground pool and it has already popped or deflated.

Air goes out fast. In 30 minutes. Don't waste money.

Looks good but terrible quality.

popped while floating in the water. Cant find the leak to patch it.

poor quality

One of the headrests ripped within minutes of being in the pool. Do not waste your money.

Don't buy

Never holds air! Terrible
Product. Should have listened to other reviews.

Terrible product. Will not hold air.
