Mario Game with Super value and ease

Solid Mario Party game. Not the best in the series, and it lacks the amount content it should, but overall it adds some nice new mechanics and comes back to the classic Mario Party formula.

Good deal

This game is likely lots of fun for younger players, but as an adult I found it just okay. The mini games are fun, and some take bit of learning curve to figure out how to execute well. The game overall is good, but I don't feel it's a sixty dollar game.  

I'd only played Mario Party on the Wii U a few times. I enjoyed it quite a lot though, so I bought this game.  It's fun, but there are 3 things that irk me. One is that it takes a while to get through a game. If you want to play a quicker game, you can't do anything about it. I've typically done a 2 player, 10 round game and it takes about an hour.  I wish there was a way to speed up things - skip animations for example. I'd much prefer a 30 minute 2 player 10 round game.  You can play more than 10 rounds but so far I have not been in a situation that's called/allowed for it. 

The second thing is that if you try to play a friend online, you can't play the actual "board" game, only the mini games. This was very disappointing to discover. 

The third thing is that in my experience the game seems a bit too random/based on luck. Usually the player that is closest to the star when it appears has a much better chance to get it and the player with the most stars wins. Also, at the end, the game randomly awards a star to a player. These 2 factors can be very frustrating. If these features could be adjusted or turned off, it would be great.  I really would like there to be options like that, and it strikes me as kind of odd that in this day and age, they limit options like a quicker way to play or the way to make the game more fair.  

There's plenty of places one can get more info on the game, I just mainly wanted to inform folks on ways that the game disappointed me, in case they care about similar aspects. Its a good, entertaining game, but it's not perfect. If I would have known what I know now, I probably would have passed on buying it when I did.
