I love the Genius 1.2KG. I use it at least once a week. My favorite dish to make is chicken wings and the result is excellent! My husband used it first because he couldn’t wait for me to come home and didn’t read the instructions so the first batch wasn’t great but it was because he had added oil when he shouldn’t have. Since then, all our attempts have yielded great and delicious results. I have recommended this product to all my friends and family. If you want an easy dish that cooks quickly and is delicious, I recommend this Actifry. I would no longer use the oil fryers but only this machine.

We have always wanted to try the Activery product line for a healthier alternative to our oil fryer. We found this product to be excellent for doing almost everything we did in our oil fryer. We used almost no or downright no oil for the recipes we tried and the result was delicious. Easy to use, easy to clean, I highly recommend this product to everyone.

T-Fal ActiFry 1.2

I love my new T-fal ActiFry Genius 1.2 kg, it is super simple to use and there is a huge choice of recipes available through the T-fal app that are sorted by difficulty level. I can’t describe how much my family loves homemade fries with this 1.2kg ActiFry. It’s much safer than frying food in oil on gas in a pan and the food is not greasy. Everything is simple with this product: from the box outlet in one piece to the well thought-out, easy-to-clean non-stick surface inside the machine. There are 9 preset cooking options, just press the one you want and press play or you can use manual mode to set your own cooking time. 9 hours later, you can also set a delayed start timer so that your food is ready when you get home after a busy day. When the cooking cycle is over, a function automatically triggers to keep your food warm for 30 minutes before the full shutdown. Totally my new kitchen toy.

I am a fan of the ActiFry product line. My family has been using the ActiFry Original for years and we jumped at the chance to try out the new ActiFry Genius range! There are two things you need to know, if you have the older versions: 1. It is harder to use. It’s not just the buttons that run and stop the old versions! 2. It is worth learning to use it! It’s really great and you have to trust him to do his thing! Just like the ActiFry Original models, warm air is used to circulate the little oil that is used to "fry" food, leaving it crisp, fluffy and delicious. Unlike the old models, there are built-in timers (fries, breaded snacks, meat and vegetable dumplings, spring rolls, chicken, wok, world cuisine and desserts) that will allow you to cook the desired food. For example, for meat and vegetable dumplings, the spatula does not start turning for the first few minutes, giving the food time to firm up a little outside before turning the spatula so that they cook perfectly. We started by making our favorite recipe: fresh fries. We cut potatoes from the garden and put them in salt water for several hours. Once rinsed and dried, they were put in the machine with a little oil, the lid was closed and the fried mode was set. There you go! When the device was finished, he pushed a little song and we could eat delicious crispy and fluffy fries and it was faster than with the Original model. No problem! We like that there is a protection on the new Actifry Genius that covers the rim of the bowl. He raises and raises the content rather than raising and lowering it. When food has a lot of liquid, it prevents it from running away! The device is very easy to clean. I am not a fan of dishwashers, so my family does the dishes by hand. The items could easily be detached, cleaned and put back in their place. There is no need to force. You will surely keep your old Original model at home if you need to make two different kinds of food, but the new Active Genius will become the star of your home! Even though it makes me sad not to have it at home, I lent it to friends and they will buy one for their home!

I love the Actifry Genius 1.2 KG

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The ActiFry Genius 1.2 Kg appliance is really good in making meals with little or no oil. It was fast and simple to set up. The ActiFry works best when the food has natural oils or fat to compensate for not adding additional oil. First, I tried making fried chicken in the ActiFry. The fried chicken was very crispy and tender inside. Second, I tried french fries. The french fries was very crispy.   Third, I tried making sausages. The sausages had a crispy outer skin while the inside was very juicy. Fourth, I tried making pizza pops. The pizza pops had a nice crispy crust while the inside was very moist.  Fifth, I tried making gyoza. The gyoza had a try outer skin while the inside was moist. The gyoza would be better with some water and added oil in the pan. So, most food items would not require added oil. I would recommend adding sauces or oil in some instances when you do not want crispy and dry outer layer. I did not try making vegetables since the vegetables may turn out to be dry and flavourless without any sauces or additional oil.  The ActiFry is good for some foods but a pass on other foods. The ActiFry is quite loud. I wish the ActiFry was a bit quieter. The ActiFry was very easy to clean and disassemble. I would prefer stainless steel over plastic construction. Overall, the ActiFry was good for most foods but some foods would require adding sauces or addition oil to eliminate dryness and flavourless cooking.

Ever since, everything has turned out perfectly and has tasted amazing. I've recommended this product to all my friends and family. If you want an easy meal that cooks quickly and tastes amazing, I  highly recommend this ActiFry. I won't go back to frying food, I will only use this product.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We still have yet to use the machine to it's full extent however we tried a few recipes from the website/app and thought it was decent. In the future I'll use more recipes from other sources. We tried scrambled eggs in it and they were good but cleaning up was a pain after so we'll just do eggs the traditional way. My partner did a sweet potato recipe that was intended to be a dessert and I think he put too much in the size of machine because they didn't really crisp up as advertised but still tasted pretty good (just wasn't amazing as hoped). Overall, looking forward to trying more recipes!

Healthier option for comfort food

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When reviewing the T-fal ActiFry Genius 1.2kg, my first impression was that the packaging was insufficient or suspicious. My version didn’t come with plastic wrap or coating and the polystyrene parts adhered to static electricity. As for food, I enjoy using little or no oil and I tried tofu, chicken nuggets, sweet potato fries and other foods with varied results. My kids really liked tofu, and all it took was a little oil and some (light) soy sauce. It is super simple to use and very easy to find recipes. So far, I have found that attention needs to be paid to the distribution of food in the unit according to the desired results. A toaster oven can make crusting more difficult, but the advantage of this device over a toaster oven is that it mixes food. To some extent, it remains crisp, but I have to experiment a lot more so I can give you a better idea of what you can expect. I will say that I love cooking healthy meals for my family and I look forward to trying other recipes. As for the cooking speed, it makes cooking faster and easier and the food is very hot, which I like very much. However, the learning curve to get the desired results with the amount of food you put in is a bit steep. However, I think that once I find the right portions and formula, the effort will have been worth it and I expect to put it to the test in the coming weeks.

First impressions--need to try more

I had a older model ActiFry that had two power arms and it worked great for small cut fries.
I had to replace and purchased the ActiFry Genius that has only one power arm and it does a terrible job with small cut fries. The fries all bunch up on one side and do not cook evenly. I have to open and stir constantly to try and correct problem
