This T-Rex tape is super strong. I bought it to use on my horse. I use it to make a boot for their hoof when they have an injury or abscess. This tape held up better than any tape I have used. Super strong and durable. Gorilla Tape ain't nothing compared to this saved. T-Rex eats gorilla for lunch.

Bought this once, thinking it "might be a little stronger than regular duct tape". Boy howdy! A "bit stronger"?? Try "suitable for building a house"..lol. This tape is amazing.  Not for everyday duct tape use. We use it to cover the inevitable gaps on the window installed air conditioner.  Never buckles, rips, stretches or moves.  Excellent for those tough applications where regular duct tape just won't do.

Don't plan on tearing it off...you'll definitely need a blade.

The Superman of duct tapes

This is the best adhesive tape, far beyond other brands.  The flexibility and strong.  I taped plastic over my truck window for .month, never having it blow open, no moisture or any other repairs needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to tested out the T-Rex Tape and put it through an obstacle course to prove its water resistance. WELL- this product is build to seal and last. I placed a 5.5 lb weight in a shipping envelope. Next step, place the taped portion in water. The more it began soak the stronger the tape became. Even though the envelope began to wear and tear, the tape was holding on to the bubble wrap. If the package would have been shipped, and encountered some heavy rain. The package would have arrived just fine. T-Rex Tape- Can't fight it, can't break it! Seriously, this tape is an essential. #unbreakable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited when I got a roll of this T-rex tape to try for free because it promised to have the hold and water resistance I needed, and it didn't disappoint. It is a great thickness and stickiness, and is easy to tear off the roll without needing a knife or scissors, which is great when your hands are busy holding things together, but when applied it didn't rip on any of the projects I did.  So far the water resistance seems top notch, and has allowed me to complete several projects I had lined up with considerably less tape and hassle than the other brands of tape I have used.  I have decided to start buying T-Rex tape from now on.  I am a true believer in this product!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received ShurTech T-Rex Tape to sample and review.  One of the first things I  noticed was how much stickier just the edge of the roll was.  The thick layer of adhesive holds strong against itselt.  Unlike some tapes which are difficult to tear (in a straight line) T-Rex tape tears with ease.  It has great holding strength.  I used it as a clamp when filling in the mortise in my door while replacing the deadbolt and latch.  On the downside of having such a strong hold, it can pull the paint/finish off of the project you are working on. (In my case it didn't matter because I was re-painting the door anyway)

The store was out of stock on Gorilla tape when I bought T Rex .  I thought I would give it a try and expected it to be at least as good as Gorilla tape but sadly it was not.  The adhesive that T Rex uses did not seem to stick as well to cloth as the Gorilla tape.  On hard surfaces T Rex performed almost  as well, but Gorilla tape just seems to have more teeth.

Okay so I bought this expensive duct tape thinking I was getting better than duct tape I tried sticking it to multiple surfaces I tried to get it to adhere to metal insulation board plastic you name it I tried to stick it to it and the only thing it would stick to is itself I don't recommend I think that T-Rex needs to go back to the drawing boards on duct tape

I made this purchase specifically for black T-Rex tape, and spent another $20  dollars to get free shipping and received gray T-Rex tape. It's possible that's what was technically in my cart, but when I added it to my cart it was black which is why I would be willing to pay $15 for a roll of tape…gray TRex tape is readily available for as little as $6.00, and there's not rado. to ever spend more than $9.00…very dissatisfied with the experience.
