Produces a substantial amount of steam for effective use.

Offers good value with different mode settings.

Allows for fast heating and cooling during ironing.

Can be heavy and high-quality, but also exhibits inconsistent construction.

This is really good iron. It gives good steam and I love the sole plate ... that was the selling feature for me. Also has a nice big water tank.

Only 2 things I'm not too fussy about:
- the temperature dial is hard to move (I need to use 2 hands) but I usually keep it on a cotton setting (I'm a quilter) so it's not so bothersome. 
- the clear blue plastic to see the water level is not transparent enough and you really have to look hard and jiggle the iron around to figure out where the water level is at

Fabulous iron at a very reasonable price.

Fabulous iron

Tried many and this one is the only one I thought seemed to have good quality parts. It stands very well (easy to put down) and cord put-away is easy. Don't be fooled by the color, the teal is actually closer to navy blue. Looks great.

I recommend !

Same iron was almost double the price at Canadian Tire. Heats up quickly and provides great steam.

Iron

Iron works fine, but the content of the box may not agree with the operating manual.  The manual mentions a de-calcing rod, but it was not included with the iron.

Missing part?

I have only had this a week so I am rating it a 4.  I like the Tfal brand so I trust it. I wanted an iron with auto off so I hope this fits the bill.

Good

I only just used the iron once but so far so good. I was surprised (and disappointed) how big the stand base is though; I have a door mount storage rack for my ironing board and iron; the iron no longer fits into the slot so I had to find an alternative way of storing the iron while not in use. Overall the iron itself does what it is supposed to do but I have yet to try all the features such as the Anti-Calc.

Okay, but not yet fully tested…
