These bottles are way too cheap for the quality you get. I can leave a bottle of ice water in  room temp for a couple days, and it lost a small amount of ice.

Very good purchase! I'm usually out of the house for 12  hours at a time, sometimes 24 hours. And this keeps my water cold and refreshing. This is actually my third TAL bottle that I've purchased (because I lost the two previous ones). Happy customer! 😊

Great and reliable

Bought to keep milk cold for camping last summer. Filled it with ice water for a few hours and then refilled it with milk. Kept the milk cold for at least two days- almost three. Used for this purpose 5-6 times over the summer and fall. Easy to clean. Almost looks brand new. Very happy with the puchase

Is it the "best" 64oz/1 gal "growler?" Maybe, maybe not.  Best VALUE 64oz growler, probably so!  Compared to "big name" products, Y**i, St****y, Co****n, for sure. They're all made in China, so you're getting nothing different there.  For drinking, pouring, this has a small screw top opening (a little finicky to get on but mine seals completely) and for cleaning, filling/ice, the whole top screws off for easier access. Now the point of my review - performance w/HOT liquids. Most reviews seem to focus on cold. I pre-heated the unit with hot water from the tap for about 15 minutes, that's important.  Meanwhile, brought clean water to a full rolling boil, 212 degrees F.  Poured out the pre-heat water and filled the TAL Ranger almost to the top with the boiling water, then screwed the top on tight. Was concerned initially b/c within minutes I could feel the plastic top getting warm - in any of these devices the top is the main temperature leak. There's usually no vacuum there and they're plastic of some sort. What surprised me is the flat (false) bottom of the jug got warm, too.  Didn't seem to start out too good.  About 10 hours later, put a thermometer into the small pour/drink opening after agitating the water to mix up any thermal layers that might have developed (hottest on top, cooler on bottom) to get best idea of overall temp. Started at 212, I found 155 degrees F.  Still a very warm and comfortable drink Sealed it up %26 rechecked temp (same procedure) at about 21 hrs after filing.  Not nearly as big a drop, was about 130 degrees. Ended experiment then, it was still "drinking warm" after almost a day. The claim is "hot for 26 hr."  Well, I didn't go the 26 hrs, but functionally, it did keep that initially boiling water at a still comfortably warm temp for drinking at 21 hours. If one poured a cup right after filling you'd have to wait to be able to drink it. At 21 hrs, it would be warm and ready to drink right as you poured. That's not bad for about $17 that I paid. So if you BOILED soup, coffee, tea and put it into a pre-warmed jug, nearly a day later it should be comfortable! Caveat-I did this in my house, at around 68 deg F ambient temp. If you're outdoors, it may not do as well. Hope that helps, enjoy!

A review of HOT performance

I love the green colors, but something happened to the one I purchased only 4 montrhs ago.It doesn't keep water cold anymore, ice melts quickly when inside the house. I used to be able to keep water cold with ice for more than a day. But like I said something happened to this one.I didn't bang this one on anything or drop it like I normally do, so there really is no explanation. But I will still buy them.

Not as good as previous

Insulation is great. Keeps iced water cold over 24 hours. However, the lid has come loose on me three times since purchase and caused huge messes. Definitely not leak proof. And for how large it is, it's difficult to manage if you can't hold it by the handle on the lid since it will pop off. Also ended up not being a fan of the green color. I thought it would be darker based on online pics, but it's more an army green.

I bought two and just realized the O ring type rubber gasket for the wider part of the lid interior of one of my bottles is missing. That means it leaks and cannot seal as promised.. In my photos you can see the gap where the item is and where it is missing. Can I get a rubber O ring gasket from the supplier.

Leaky lid

I don't know if I got a bad bottle or what but this one will NOT keep ice all day. I have a 50 oz bottle (same brand) purchased at Walmart that works wonders but I dropped it and broke the seal so I was trying to get a replacement.  I am not happy with this purchase at all. I thought it was just me until I read some of the reviews where others are having the same issue with ice not keeping for a long period of time.. I do recommend this brand although again I am not pleased with this purchase

not pleased

I purchased this item a few days ago, and every time I add warm water to it, the inside material of the flask emits an odd taste. Due to this strong unpleasant taste, I cannot drink water from this flask. Very disappointed with this purchase

Bad taste while adding warm water

does not insulate filled half of it with ice. than the rest with water. The out side of the got really cold. The ice melted in about an hour and a half.
