I played this game with my children , so I bought it to play with my grandchildren . They learned to play the game quickly , unlike some convoluted games . It has become one of their favourites . Thank you .

A fun classic!

Have  an older version of `deluxe Rummoli`` and was hoping this would be the same but unfortunately  it is not.  My old version came with a plastic sheet on which the game is played - roughly 24inches to outer corners of octagon. The larger surface  provides ample space to hold the game chips, vs this new cardboard gameboard which is only 18 inches to edge of octagon (the outside dimension of actual board is a bit larger but offers useless space outside the octagon used for game play).  Another consequence of the smaller playing surface is that the hierarchy of winning poker pot hands is difficult to read, as it is quite small on this game board. Poker chips provided are tiny, close to size of a plastic bingo marker.  Cardboard game board looks to be fairly sturdy, but is a bit too small for me.
