We wanted a device we could connect to our phones so that we could always have access to the air unit and keep track of the thermostat. This unit is perfect for us. It took both me and my husband to install it. We followed the instructions completely because we wanted to have it installed all year round. I love the insulation foam it came with to put over the accordion panels. Since it's cooler out now. They work great at keeping the heat in and the cold out. It also is the perfect sized unit to keep his apartment cool. The remote also is very convenient for my brother in law. Definitely recommend!

It sat tight into place in the window and cooled a large room down very quickly.   It held its temperature well and did not seem to run to much no too little.   I enjoy that more is being put into energy efficiency and to help save money when we have to use more to keep homes warm or in this case cooler.  Great unit and good for residential rooms of many sizes.

The unit comes with a washable and reusable filter and cools rooms up to 450sq ft. I would definitely recommend this smart AC not only because it can be controlled with an app on my phone but it has a built in timer and is energy star certified.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The window unit was very easy to install and start up. Love the fact that it comes with a very simple, but yet effective remote. I use this window unit in our Florida room to keep it cool. The unit did its job worked amazing. Did not waste that much electricity. The physical remote was easy to use, and had all the same conveniences of the unit. Here comes the bonus! The app, is a bit persnickety. But I do like the fact that it allows me to sync it up to my Alexa and I can control the AC from anywhere in the house prior to us going out to the Florida room. my teenage son love the app because he could set it for him and his friends from his phone and be cool. However, the app is still a work in progress. The unit has so many moves. That makes it so easy to get the best temperature or even remove humidity. Overall, we love this window unit. The only dislike we do have is that the app that is a bit cumbersome.

Perfect for south Florida

I am truly disappointed in this window unit. It was purchased it in April this year, 2025, and by June it was spewing a rust-colored substance on the outside housing. Thinking it just may have been normal wear and tear, I reasoned that I would clean it at the end of the season, so, I left it alone. Last night I heard a noise I had not noticed before and peeped in through the air vent but didn't see anything. This morning, I looked in again and gasped at what I saw. The blades are black with mold and it's growing on the Styrofoam housing. I turned it off and opened the drain plug to let it dry out and the coil in that area is solid rust!
