Noise Level

Although noisy, this unit is extremely efficient.  Since it's for my basement, that's not a problem.  I wish to add though that, despite reading the instructions, I thought that when in ''continuous'' mode, the unit would stop when the bucket got full.  This is how my old dehumidifier used to work.  I learned the hard way that this is not so and that the ''continuous'' mode absolutely needs to drain through the floor.  My bad.

Noisy but efficient

I've read about bad reviews about this product that it is noisy, leaking, and not sucking moisture from the air. So far, I have not noticed any of these. I live in a basement apartment and I don't see any more molds since I starting using this dehumidifier. It's been over a month now and I've been using it for 6 hours a day. So far so good.

Meets the expectations!

Works very well and fulfills its role well. BUT You must be aware of some subtleties of this model: -The drainage plug comes with a plastic that holds it. Remove it and tighten the cap or the water will flow. -The water flows into an internal tank before emptying into the tank. Be careful not to spill it when removing the tray. -It works very well, see too well, and the bin fills up quickly in very humid areas. Consider placing a drainage pipe if you plan to use it often when you’re not there.

Oh, yeah.

I'm always surprised when an appliance works nowadays, so this dehumidifyer works! (for now) In fact it removes water very fast. 

The negative point is that it doesn't stop when full, so it spills on the floor, you have to check often and be there when it works, so not always convenient.

Works but..

Really good product. It stops when full. I didn't think it was that small but doesn't matter it does the job.

Humidifier

This TCL 30 pint dehumidifier is too noisy and vibrating. It may be good for individual usage but definitely not good for home and I'm going to return it.

Noisy dehumidifier

I bought one july 2019. Only ran it from spring to fall. Tried to start it this year and an e3 code came up. Did all the trouble shootings still did not fix it. Manufacturers only offer 1yr warranty so they said nothing they can do and find an appliance repair shop.

Doesn't even last 2 years

I bought this unit from walmart. I put it in the basement to remove humidity. After 1 hour the unit became very very hot and smelled every where in my house. The display showed ER3 and there where no water in the drawer which means the unit wasn't functional. This is the second time I am writing this review since my first review was not published.
I think I will put this review on Facebook if it does not get published.

Unit became burning hot

This is the second unit we bought and both after 1 year loses its Freon and throws the E3 code. First one just ran with but the compressor would not come on. Now this second one just freezes up to a solid block of ice and puts out the same code. Paid a lot for each for only a years use. Garbage.
