I saw this TV in person at one of the stores for $338 (Black Friday) and thought it was pretty cheap for a 50-inch TV. The specs for the price were very good for a second TV. Since the TV is mostly for mom, she won't notice the difference between a 60Hz and a 120Hz TV, especially since she doesn't watch sports. She mostly watches soap operas, game shows, and the odd movies.

For the price this TV has excellent picture quality with a very good list of features, and it comes with Android's smart TV platform.

Walmart's website lists this TV as having Fast Motion 120, but it's actually Fast Motion 240 (check the attached photo). If I had noticed that on the website I would have probably skipped past looking at this TV, but because I saw it in person it caught my attention.

For some reason this model appears to be unique to Walmart, but based on the specs it seems like it's actually the TCL 50Q651G-CA which other stores sell. The specs and the design are very similar, and the 50Q51BR-CA model is nowhere to be found on TCL's website or any other site for that matter. Rting's has some picture settings for 50Q651G which should also work for this TV.

If you can find this TV for under $350 it's terrific value, and difficult to beat. If you're a gamer then look somewhere else. This is a good second or third TV.

Walmart's listed specs for this TV are wrong.

I am delighted with my purchase. This is my second Roku. Easy and pleasant to organize the settings to my liking. I love it.

Very good purchase

Good TV, this tv supports Dolby Vision.  Motion Clarity imo is jarring though, I turned this option off.  Overall, happy with picture for this price.  Sound is adequate, but would be a much better experience with a sound bar.

My First TCL TV, Good Value for the features!!

I recently purchased the 4K QLED HDR Smart Google TV from Walmart, and I am absolutely impressed.Setup was simple.
If you're looking for a high-quality TV with smart features and excellent picture quality, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

One of the best decisions I made buying this during black friday deal.

It's worth the money!

Purchased the TV online the day before Christmas , but picked it up at the store. When I got the tv home and tried to set it up I noticed there was a defect. When I brought the TV back for an exchange I was met with smarminess and condescension from customer service when I was told a direct exchange was not possible. When I said I would keep the tv, they said it was too late and that it would take four days for the money to be put on my credit card. 
I understand the policy now, but making that fact more clear upfront would have been helpful. Ended up buying another tv (which has been great so far). 

About the tv itself, the one thing I really don't like is how invasive it is to set the tv up. There are so many documents and permissions giving access to what appears like everything except rights to your first born (which may actually be in the fine-fine print). You can still use the tv without giving google access to everything, but you are very limited in use if you do. What happpened to the days of plug and play???

Great TV, terrible service

We've had this TV for 3 months. Good quality for the price. Only drawback is the sound is tinny, but with our soundbar ça va.
