[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this TV for over a year now and I've had chance to use it under most circumstances. First I want to say what a bright clear picture this thing has. Never a problem in bright sunlit room. In 4K it's magnificent so I have no issue with pitcher quantity. I have however more than a little problem with two things. One is that it has tended to get frozen to where I had to reboot it to get it going again. I have not had this problem in more than 6 months now so this has probably been fixed with a software upgrade by now. The second issue was when trying to stream Netflix or Prime the movie or program video and sound looked like they were scrambled The only way to get it going was to unplugs and plug-in again. I blamed Roko for this one but there is no way to prove it. This too has not shown itself in a few months and was probably fixed with a software update. Overall I would recommend this set to a friend and I'm glad I purchased it. You can't get this good a picture for the money anyway else.

Great picture

We've had the TV for about 2 months now and visitors comment on how bright and clear the picture is.  We have model 55R635-CA.
Similar to another commenter, we have issues with the TV accessing Amazon Prime. The picture is stable, we just get an error message every few days to a week. The solution is to unplug and then re-plug the tv. If this happened to my other TCL tv, then it would be an app. It only happens to the new TV, so it's got to be something internal with it. This is why it gets a lower performance rating. 
That's the only negative we have had.  Beautiful picture.
