This TV is Great , I love it !! And boy has it for about a week now,,, but WOW defines great bang for the buck. The picture is amazing I just took a Samsung 50” off the wall, I have been using Samsung for years and swore by them. Wasn’t sure what ai was getting myself into , but … the picture is GREAT, there are tons of options ( many of which I have not gotten into yet) .  I have a PS5 and it is great for gaming!!  Would definitely go with TCL again

Great picture on this set.  Very easy to install.  The only reason I gave the audio a little ding was the fact that my soundbar (an Onn) didn't really get along with TLC.  However switching from the ARC to Bluetooth has fixed the issue.  I am glad to have spent a little extra to get such a crisp picture to watch my Yankees.  (Before the inevitable fall collapse).

I recently purchased the TCL 65-inch QM6K mini-LED TV, and I’ve been extremely impressed with the overall value and performance. For the price, it’s honestly one of the best TVs I’ve owned.

The picture quality is amazing—bright, sharp, and full of detail. The mini-LED backlighting makes a noticeable difference, especially in dark scenes, with deep blacks and great contrast. HDR content really stands out thanks to support for Dolby Vision, HDR10 , and other premium formats. Movies and streaming shows look incredibly cinematic.

The audio is also surprisingly good for a built-in sound system. With Dolby Atmos and IMAX Enhanced sound, the experience feels much more immersive compared to other TVs in the same price range. You can actually hear directional effects and depth, which is rare without a separate sound system.

The QM6K also packs tons of great features, easy-to-use smart apps, and smooth performance whether you're watching movies, gaming, or streaming.

Overall, this TV is a great deal for anyone looking for premium features without the premium price tag. Stunning picture quality, great sound, and strong format support make it an easy recommendation.

TCL QM6K 65” Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased in June 2025, this is by far the best TV I've ever owned and at a great price. Beautiful picture, crisp rich color, deep blacks, bright whites, phenomenal contrast. I saw Caleb of Digital Trends/Caleb Rated recommend it and saw the price had dropped. Well I'm so glad I bought it.  The built-in Onkyo 2.1 speakers are more than enough for home streamers. I have a Sony Dolby Atmos Reciever and I swear it sounds better than it ever did. The remote is great with backlight, easy voice commands. Lots of apps to choose from, Antenna channels look unbelievable so much that I dropped YouTube TV. Best bang for the buck all the high end features in an affordable obtainable package and you save it not needing a soundbar. Yes adding one will enhance the soundstage but out of the box this TV has so much going for it. Dont get the less expensive QM5K or more expensive versions this QM6K is the perfect balance between cost vs features.

For the pricepoint, this TV has excellent quality and will buy another when I move to a new place. This TV has easily replaced my four year old samsung that now seems to look outdated picturewise. Many people should also know that Sony shares the Bravia technology with TCL!

Crisp and Smooth

Horrible Colors

I spent an hour this evening unboxing and assembling according to instructions. Got everything set up and all cables attached properly. Plugged tv into a surge protector, put batteries in remote and press power. Nothing happens. The remote is lit up but TV is DOA. I have tried all the troubleshooting and it will not power on. I will be contacting TCL and Walmart tomorrow. I will amend my review based on the outcome.

$800 and it won’t even power on.

It's not a television, it's an industry espionage infotainment system. 
              You'll need to learn basic computer and smartphone technology to use it. 
                                           If you don't have internet access forget it.
     Most of the apps are unavailable without an email subscription, mobile number or access to a computer to verify identity or various accounts by entering codes sent to a mobile device or email. In some cases an app on another device is needed. 
               Because the system makes device and other account associations I have some serious privacy concerns that are too technical to explain in this review.
    The remote is not a remote control in the traditional sense, it's an interface device mainly controlled by voice that limits people with disabilities. There are NO physical controls on the system pannel, if you loose the controller, it breaks, or the batteries fail, you will have no access to the system. This fact requires the purchase of 2 other remotes as backups as soon as possible (before their all gone model no.RC923A) to ensure access for the alleged 30,000 hours of system life should one controller fail or they get lost or eaten by the dog.
     The user agreements, privacy policies and and other legal junk your forced to agree to for the system to work, would take an average reader hours to get through and understand properly. I was seriously considering hiring a legal specialist to help me understand why I need to agree to anything just to watch TV, but it's NOT a TV. 
    The only reason it gets one star is the picture quality and brightness. 
Now I need to find a real television that doesn't cater to greedy corporations and data mining of my personal viewing habits, but I fear over the air television is going to be encrypted soon because people keep buying junk like this.

It's not a "TELEVISION" It's an infotainment sys.
