Ease Of Installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a functional and affordable RV/Camper toilet that works. Can't ask for anything more or less.

It works

walmart.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product. Big bowl. Water flows down sewer opening smooth when extra is added.

New toilet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely worth the price for an upgrade. Much more comfortable than the standard toilet that came with our RV.

Nice upgrade

Replacement

totally happy with purchase. no complaints

Slow delayed shipping(due to Fedex). Toilet was packaged well. Install was super quick and easy. Great replacement for my old RV toilet that had a leaking water fitting, likely due to a botched winterization from the former RV owner.

Nice Replacement Toilet

Due to Thetfords consistent incompetence, I had to purchase a new toilet. It doesn't matter what brand you buy, Thetford, Dometic, or whatever other brand, the same issue happens with all of them. You would think that a company that has been around for as many years as Thetford, they would fix their issue, but NO, let just make the customer buy another one.
My old toilet was ceramic, I bought this plastic one for two reasons. First, it was a lot cheaper than the ceramic one. Second, My butt doesn't know the difference.
Yes, this one hooked right up to where my old toilet was with no problem.

Took the load and did its job well.

I purchased this toilet to replace the existing Thetford toilet that was in my TT. The old one did not prevent sewage fumes from escaping. It was a poor design and I should have known better than buying another Thetford. The new toilet was difficult to seat onto the supplied rubber seal. My flange is at the correct height but it just wouldn't compress. I finally got the toilet installed and found it to be so flimsy that it twists and rocks when sat on. Extremely thin plastic. I plan on replacing it with a different brand.

1st toilet leaked from 2 places immediately. 2nd toilet (within a week) started leaking at the vacuum connector at the back, the ball valve fell into the tank when trying to flush, the toilet seat just came off by lifting the toilet seat.

will break in less than 3 months

Looked nice, easy to install, but the bowl kept sliding back %26 forth on top of the pedestal %26 no way to tighten it!
I am to afraid it will start leaking water after some use %26 water damage is but %26 especially so in a csmper!
Can't chance it!!

Scared to keep, fear of water damage!!

Thetford 42169 Aqua Magic Modern Style Lightweight Residential RV Toilet front-facing white residential-size toilet with integrated full seat and single-pedal system (half press adds water, full press gives 100% bowl-clearing flush), ADA-compliant 18-inch (46 cm) seat height, 9.5 lb weight; seat inhibits mold and odor-causing bacteria; often used as a compact full-size option for tiny homes or camper conversions.
